That’s good to know, thank you!

(Could you still maybe blur out those screenshots, for those who haven’t unlocked it yet?)

Where do I find that crate?

In the church, after you unlocked the window in the shed at level 86, I think. 76!

So it’s a waste to collect the items here?

If you nothing to have from items, this can be not bad starting

So, is that a Silverballer and fiber wire? What else? I can’t tell if that’s a coin or Merces, and what’s the Hitman symbol thing?

It’s a bunch of merces, around 20k IIRC. The thing with the symbol looks like some kind of tablet so it’s probably hinting at 47 getting back to work with something similar to the ICA in the future?

I consider it a reference to Hitman 2: Silent Assassin. The combination of church, shed, chest, Silverballer and what I consider a small laptop with the logo on it makes that leap almost unavoidable.

It’s not a coin, it’s merces.

Well, at least now we know where the other Silverballer has been this whole time.

So I finally managed to finish a HC campaign after a couple of test runs to get the hang of things. It went smoother than I expected and I even managed to get a few perfect runs (including one in the final showdown lol).

Most of the regular levels weren’t as hard as I expected, and selecting which level I wanted to play based on the prestige objectives available proved to be a decent strategy. I didn’t have any major glitches or bugs, I kinda dreaded collateral prestige objectives based on what I’ve seen other people experience but they all worked on the first try (I did all the weapon ones with the Striker, the others were all propane or explosives).

I got a few horrible rolls towards the end - SASO + SA No Firearms + Timed Get Disguises twice in a row, so I took the last option everytime and managed to deflect the first one on Whittleton, but I had to do the second one on Sgail and it was really stressful (thankfully the targets were all around the Constant’s tower so I just climbed there as custodian, yolo whacked everyone and left as guard, in and out and no one noticed).

The showdowns, though, were a real pain. The combination of the high density of assassins / lookouts and the mandatory prestige objective you have to do on a single target, who has a really long route and who you have to identify first, without alerting any of the other idiots who could turn that target into Usain Bolt, was incredibly tedious. Honestly if it was all regular contracts I’d probably play HC a lot more and enjoy the extra difficulty spike, but weaving 4 showdowns into that turns it into a nightmare. So… back to normal mode I guess.

So, if I should lose the Silverballer and fiber wire that I currently have on my wall during a mission, I can just replenish them from here instead of buying them again?

Yeah, you can do it, just replenish them from here instead of buying them

Oh, that’s gonna come in really handy for me, especially when it comes time for hardcore mode.

You can only take those things once. They don’t respawn unfortunately.

I would pay 1,000,000 merces to respawn those items in the box. Just saying, IOI.

Then again, there’s still an unsolved safehouse easter egg on the loose… I still wonder if it’s related.

So what happens to that spot after you take them? They don’t reappear there after like every other item you unlock as part of the safehouse?! It’s just an empty box afterward? IOI, stop being stupid.
