I wonder if the ā€˜Perfect Runā€™ Prestige objective will ever be reintroduced into Freelancer? I think a few PC players keep having it pop up on there but I donā€™t believe itā€™s still in the console versions?

It was announced as removed in 3.160
It reappeared without announcement in 3.170

Now with 3.180, it has silently disappeared.

A very strange affair because I had no issues with it in 3.170, but I did prior to that. Maybe @Combatglue would care to chime in on the mystery of the disappearing Perfect Run Prestige Objective

Iā€™m a religious Freelancer playing and I personally didnā€™t notice it was reintroduced in patch 3.170 for Xbox? :thinking:

No idea about Xbox, I only play on PC (Epic).

Itā€™s possible that they accidentally built or shipped differing code for the PC platforms, though someone should tighten up their CI pipeline if that was actually the case.

On the Steam version Iā€™ve never seen it again after it was deactivated for the first time, so either Iā€™m extremely unlucky (weā€™re talking no occurences of that prestige objective for hundreds of hours of gameplay here) or the codeā€™s indeed different depending on the platform.

I have not seen Perfect Run on either PS4 or Xbox SS.

You can avoid alerted Colorado byā€¦ not selecting syndicates with Colorado :x

For the water tower start, either kill the 3 guards on the roof quickly or rush down to hide in the crate at the bottom of the stairs as soon as you spawn.

Oh the thought of just not picking Colorado did not even occur to me. I was focused too much on the optional conditions :sweat_smile:

Itā€™s also possible to rush down the ladder as soon as you start and crouch-run to the stairs. You should get away with that.

Well, ā€œANYā€ doesnā€™t apply, apparently.

I guess Iā€™ll need to get the leader with it, but Iā€™m wanting to get a lethal poison kill. If they get woken up theyā€™ll panic and escape. :man_facepalming:
