I got intentions of playing this mode, just like Ghost Mode. But it’s unlikely that will amount to anything, if the later is to go by.
considering im completely devoid of any academic responsibilities after the 23rd of january I’m planning to make like 47 and huddle up in my safehouse and freelance for 8 hours or longer. unless social responsibilities peak around the corner, whom i prefer over a silly videogame
“Having conflicting objectives in a professional context is unrealistic!”
Professional context, nah, that’s expected. Poor programming to a game that’s supposed to be fun and intended (so it is claimed) to be accommodating for everyone’s play style? Different story.
And they say the germans dont know humor
Not sure how you still believe that to be the case - especially after you spending the last year endlessly bitching about the Arcade and it not suiting all styles.
Maybe you didn’t read the “(so they claim)” part. And… they literally claimed it in the recent article. Get your info straight. And why are you responding to me anyway, didn’t you mute me?
Actually you used the claim in the context of the entire game, IO’s statement was specifically to the new Freelancer mode. So it seems you are the one whose facts aren’t straight.
They’ve been claiming anyone can play it however they want since before WoA existed, genius. It’s a series feature. Not one I’ve always agreed with, but that’s been their claim.
It will be weekend in my country and not working day after so enough time to play with my man
Haven’t got much to add to the long and now-boring debate about conflicting Freelancer objectives (personally I don’t mind it), but after all this I’d like to sponsor a “@Heisenberg has to play Slay The Spire” charity stream and stand back to watch the fireworks when the RNG draws him a hand of five Defends on turn #2 in the Gremlin Nob fight.
I don’t know what the hell you just said, but bring it.
I’m hoping the download isn’t going to take too long, that way I can get myself thrown straight into it.
I’ve got to work on the Friday, but I’m off that weekend so plenty of hours to play it ![]()
Hi
It’ll probably be a bit bigger than what we have monthly, something like 3-6GB. Plus, server maintenance will likely be going on for a good while especially since what I heard about the servers during the CTT.
What about them? I’m intrigued…
I don’t think I will be able to properly play it at the day of the release. I can squeeze an ET in the week without too many issue, but nothing more than half an hour.
I think it would be making the new mode a disservice to experience it first this way.
So I will probably wait it out two more days, and have a proper session of play in the week-end.
I will aim for a full campaign done during it.
Or I will be too impatient, go to my alternate account, skip all cutscenes, and run around a bit the 26th. Before having a more decent go later on.
So expect me to be on the forum the 26th asking about the challenges, the “premium decorations”, and if we still have 10000 targets to eliminate to achieve full completion.
I guess it isn’t too long until we find out now ![]()
Ideally I’d want to play for 3-5 hours, since it’s the max gaming time I can withstand without fatigue. Although I already have a lot of things scheduled for this month and first week of February, and between the preparations I probably wouldn’t get time for more than an hour or so of playing.
Might delay Freelancing by a few weeks just so I can jump in properly. At least then the maintenance wait won’t be an issue to me.
That might depend on the time it becomes active/playable for me. And I’m suspecting it won’t be until noon or later in the evening. If that’s the case then I’ll probably have to wait till the next day. /daysleeper
