Welllll… The mission is basically an massively expanded Hokkaido Snow Festival. Dmitri Fedorov is already a target in that mission, and I only edited a few shots of the briefing. Sorry!! I am going to make a bit of a bigger mission mod for one of the donators with hopefully a whole new briefing and dialogue! (not ai ofc)
@v1deost animated and did a voice-over of a new briefing, which was very, very funny and well done (the attention to detail was stunning! ). That is why I’m a bit of a fangirl of them!
My fault for not playing the Snow Festival but yes I saw a video videost had shared onto another thread that had dialogue that seemed to be new. I’m not certain though because WoA isn’t a series I’ve played to death. Ask me to quote Blood Money and I can run you through scene 1 all the way to the epilogue
My money’s on Cameo because AI sounds clunky still, or they’re just a really good impersonator!
As far as I know, no performer does (except for James Earl Jones). What can be done to prevent that, I’m not sure Scarlett Johanson(?) did get a court case out of hers being used
Good! All while the ‘cheaper option’ becomes more expensive than the law firm to defend it, we shall keep the clones at bay I’m not a fan of AI in the creative industry, though I do understand much of it is inevitable
As others have pointed out, Jane doesn’t allow for her voice to be used with AI. There was an AI Diana voice at one point open for public use, but it’s since vanished (good riddance to that). She has done cameos for people before, and some YouTubers have utilized her voice from clips in their content, but that’s where it can get dicey from a legal standpoint. You’re better off finding someone who can do a good impression.
And if you’re talking about my Elusive Target video, that briefing was just me doing a god awful impression. I’m flattered you think it was passable haha
You’re too kind, Blossom!! Thank you I’m a huge fan of your mod. If it were accessible on Xbox, I’d totally try it. Love the random pink jellies sprinkled through out it
I’m with you on restricting the AI we seem to be in the middle of an arms race, not for munitions and weapons platforms like in the Cold War, but for ever increasingly levels of advancement in AI technology that while existent since the early days of automation, appears to be experiencing a revolution of exponential proportions even in the past year. Seemingly overnight, it’s seen unfettered use in all sectors - private and public - and is even classified as its own industry (separate of IT) on the pie charts of major economies.
But its place in the subjective creative arts is limited and should be kept so. AI art is useful for visualizing things or getting a vibe for inspiration, but it’s lifeless if not done by a thinking feeling person. Human art expresses the heart, machine art expresses the algorithm.
That said, I do think this is going to get worse for creators before it gets better. Like when artists viewed the invention of photography as making their skills obsolete.
I…think it was a video about what 47 does in his spare time in Freelancer mode? I tried to find it just now but didn’t know the channel name or what to put into the forum search bar to find it. Diana was chatting to him about her day, I believe
Okay now I wanna listen I thought I could do impressions of two Hitman characters but I worry it’s one of those situations where it sounds good in your head and then when you listen back to it recorded, it’s embarrassingly off
^ duel katanas!
I’m working on some fixes and improvements this weekend, as well as painting my irl rubber duckey in a blossom style to go along with my mask! Then, I’m doing a lil collab with @Dribbleondo and their duckey vending machine and making one for my new duckey which I’ll also mod up. Lots of cool stuff!
