(Fundraiser) Blossom Fest!

Hey! This is a super special, one-off return for me, and I’ve got something exciting to share! :pink_heart:

I’ve made a mod to help fundraise for Luna’s GoFundMe, and a charity which I’ll select after it ends.

Luka is a lovely modder, and they are in a bad situation where they can’t afford food and are at risk of being homeless.

I decided to make a mod I never got to make, and always wanted to: Blossom Fest. It includes a very blossomey Hokkaido Snow Festival expansion, with 2 mission stories and more!

Thank you for your compliment and for wanting to see more of me!
I’ve been keeping up with the Hitman community, but I’m still not going to be active that much any more. I still feel the same about IOI/Hitman (and the jcvd rerun was bad timing for my morale working on the mod when I was soo busy with it).

I’ve kept all my friends from here close to me, and I’m now working on my own little game, with ideas from them! :pink_heart: :cherry_blossom:

I’ve updated the mod with loaaads of new things and improvements! :pink_heart: I’ve edited the post with new pictures!
I’ve also added some GeoGussur type treasure hunts which I’ll post on that topic tomorrow <3.

A noble cause and a novel method of fundraising :slight_smile: also very appropriate because cherry blossoms fit you so well! Is that US flag in the 4th photo normally in the game and I just missed it?

Normally Yuki Yamazaki lives in that suite. In my mod Mr Smith has escapaed the morgue and is staying in that room with his 2 massive USA flags and enjoying the spa. (also in picture 4!)

It takes a mod, for Mr. Smith to finally catch a break :smile: it looks super peaceful there though! But a Blossom project wouldn’t be anything else :slight_smile:

Awwww this looks so cute!!! I really like the look of the changes you’ve made. Is that a waiter Disguise too? This is really well thought out! And a Kronstadt robot and infomation panel thing from the Expo room in Maimi? AND the weird Haven squid octopus thing??? Oh I will have to see a full tour of this place once it’s out, this looks soooo cool! :purple_heart::cherry_blossom:

There is an amazing Jellyfish (that’s what I think they are) surprise when you power up the fusebox for the electrocution opportunity:
Loads more Jellyfish friends appear!!

Your mask is cool :slight_smile: were you aware you can wear that in a level in Hitman Blood Money? A Dance With the Devil.

Oh no I wasn’t! I’ve only ever played Hitman 3/WOA so I used the Sgail mask as the template for it. :pink_heart: :cherry_blossom:

Sooohhh the level is set in a Las Vegas office building after hours, wherein two parties are happening at the same time. A Hell party in the basement, and a Heaven party on one of the top floors.
The Heaven guests wear white masquerade-style masks. Some are featureless full face masks, and others are your eyemasks :slight_smile:

Wow, this level looks amazing! I wish I was able to play it but sadly I’ll have to imagine it on my Xbox! Hokkaido’s my favourite level ever so next time I am strolling in the garden, I’ll be thinking of those lovely blossoms!

It’s very important to me to maintain the same photographic aesthetic that IO achieved in the game. They made great progress from the look of the first game, reaching what we see in parts 2 and 3.

This is my vision for the mission artwork.
But even here, it’s noticeable how oddly unappealing his mustache looks in the photo. Maybe that’s due to how graphics are rendered on my laptop.

Overall, the mission is good — aside from several “buts” :frowning:
Sorry, but I’m a very critical person and always strive for perfection. Still, in terms of Hitman modding, this is a big step forward, and I can see how much work the author put in. As for me, I haven’t yet figured out how to make mods myself — for now, my ideas exist only in my head and within the confines of the Contracts mode.

This is really good! I like how you’ve captured the WoA style in your briefing, this seems like it could be part of the base game like those Sapienza side missions.

I’ve been watching a few channels of people on the forum and something I’ve noticed with this video and one of @v1deost’s is that you’ve managed to get Diana’s dialogue to say things that aren’t in the original material. Like, how did you get her to say Dmitri Fedorov? Is it a Cameo situation with Jane Perry or does AI just synthesize these things now?

I’m curious if the target has unique dialogue now too!
