I’ve just finished playing through the story this morning. I thought it was okay. I think the smaller scale and more “old fashioned” style of some of the gameplay/mechanics worked better than the expansive, or sometimes exhausting, RPGs of recent years (I liked Odyssey on the whole, hated Valhalla and couldn’t finish it). I think Mirage’s writing and characters were pretty weak, bland, generic, etc. I also had a very regular bug that sometimes I could not get out of a hiding spot at all, resulting in reloading save/fast travelling.
I’ll give this free DLC a go if it has achievements attached but otherwise can’t say I’m eagerly anticipating more Mirage.
I am interested in trying Shadows next though even though I’ve heard mixed reviews.
