In Brotherhood you get the Spada Lunga from doing a shop quest and paying with those Vlad the Impaler coins. An identical sword but with a different name is in Revelations
I know but it’s very close to how it’s spelled in Romanian, “Spadă lungă”, with the same meaning. The devs knew what they were doing when they gave it that name
I will say straight up that I don’t remember the identical sword with a different name in Revelations (Prussian Longsword according to the wiki), but there is a completely unique sword named after Vlad, his personal sword which you can loot from his tomb, and that’s the one I was referring to
Well, they’re both Romance languages, so sharing the same name for a longsword probably doesn’t need to involve any hidden meaning?
Alright Jim Ryan is taking pot shots because COD’d exclusivity on PlayStation will be ending within the next three years. What I taken away from this is COD Exclusivity leaving PlayStation will lead to lower concurrent play numbers and potential hardware (both digital and physical) sales for PlayStation as a whole and that’s rubbing Jim Ryan the wrong way since the Behemoth that is the COD Franchise is a deciding force on what console a person would want to choose especially for casual gamers.
The sheep will follow wherever the proverbial exclusivity Shepard will lead them.
Jim Ryan is making it out to be that Call of Duty will cease to exist on the PlayStation Platform. The reality of it all is that the future of the brand isn’t based around alienating a Platform rather evolving upon what started with MW(2019) and unifying Progression and Player-bases.
At the end of the day it’s just a numbers game and PlayStation if the acquisition goes through won’t be the premier place to play Call of Duty which will of course affect sales numbers for Jim Ryan.
Well that was a load of weird. A few interesting announcements – Disney & Gameloft’s racing game is somehow still “coming soon”, there was a reveal of an Avatar RPG shooter game exclusively for mobile??, there’s some sick looking Midnight Suns animated shorts coming in October, and some sort of untitled Black Panther & Captain America game is in development between Marvel and Skydance Studios.
Apart from that… mehh? A bunch of mobile game ads, a few surprises like a Lucasfilm Monkey Island plug, a reminder of EA’s Avatar game. That’s kind of it.
They showed off Kingdom Hearts 4, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Insomniac’s upcoming Wolverine in the sizzle-reel at the end, but they were all unfortunately nowhere to be seen today. Ah well
Just a reminder for those wanting to catch it today. Along with a number of yet unannounced IPs, there are rumours of multiple Assassin’s Creed games to be revealed.
I saw this as an ad recently on youtube, wasn’t sure what it was supposed to be advertising until the end – turns out Assassins creed turns 15 this year.
So they’re probably gonna announce that long-in-development AC Live Service game Infinity or whatever it is. Idk I’m scared, live service games always have some spooky catch, usually involving money/MTX, and we know Ubisoft looooves that.
i only played 1, 2, black flag and the multiplayer segment of brotherhood. i only completed 1 and found that a struggle to maintain interest. the multiplayer for brotherhood was excellent though.
Ezio trilogy. Black Flag is overrated simply because everyone praised the naval gameplay / exploration which could have been any other game. The missions were complete doodoo in that game.
