Among Us got an update that adds a new cosmetic progression system, new (free & paid) currency to get cosmetics, plus new roles. (Capitalism strikes again, but really, when does it not?)
All showcased in this adorable, funny, pretty well-animated 5-minute beast of a trailer.
I’ve been playing the games for the last two hours.
The broken timers on PS4/PS5 unlocked the game at midnight in NZ (and I guess other regions as they hit midnight too), instead of waiting for the global release time (which would be 4am on November 12th for me). I guess Rockstar didn’t realise the games would unlock early when they put the timings up - they inferred was just a faulty timer but the game would remain locked.
Wonder if they’ll fix the timers and force some PS players to wait until the global time, or if they’ll just leave it.
Prior to the H3 launch, the timer was counting down to midnight in NZ too, rather than the global release time, but IO eventually had it fixed. So they can modify the timers, somehow.
GTA SA is a overhauled version of the mobile port. They didn’t fix swimming, restore the gym, but they did fix the Hydra controls. But the car color bug still exists.
Some stuff is fixed but others aren’t.
GTA VC is probably the best part of the Definitive Edition.
I say that if anyone pre-ordered this, just cancel it now and come back in a month and see if it’s fixed. Also Silent (the modder that fixed many of R*'s games) will not bother with this release.
Not that I wanna make a final opinion based on one video showcasing the graphical differences, but I´m leaning more and more towards just sticking with the originals… I hate how Claude and Tommy (and other characters) look constantly worried and there´s a near lack of changing facial expressions (just compare the phone call scene between Tommy and Sonny in VC), I hate how Los Santos has lost that orange sunset illumination that I loved so much (and how it generally looks a lot darker), heck, I even hate how the increased draw distance makes the maps (particularly SA) look so small (or rather reveal how small they in fact are ).
