Game News Thread

With the GTA trilogy, did the original games have perpetual music licenses? In other words, these songs are gone because they didn’t want to buy the rights for this “new” game, not because the rights for the original games expired.

Right they probably are not shared across games. But the OG versions also lost their tracks right? I don’t know how patching was handled in the first PC versions.

I hope Rockstar realized that they have the Skyrim syndrome too and include remakes/remasters in their future licenses. I bet it would be no issue for them money wise.

If it was R*, they would have gave him a cease and desist order

The Anniversary Upgrade is $18 with Gamepass so that’s a easy buy since creation club content is expensive.

It’s also 20euros for those that already own the Special Edition

Well you gotta own SE first to get both discounted prices

Eh, TES fans already had the original version (2011) of Skyrim and the Special Edicion was given for free to those owners in 2016, so yeah, pretty much everyone on PC can grab the Anniversary upgrade for 20euros :stuck_out_tongue:

The Switch, which has a distinct lack of media apps, finally got Twitch today.

It’s had YouTube for years, still no Netflix, not even a website browser… but finally, it has a streaming-viewing app.

The only good thing that came with it is the free Elegy RH8. The GT-R parody was the king of sports car races in Online for years until newer and more expansive ones arrived. It along with the game’s audiences created a bit too much GT-R fanboyism, though.

Think of it as Hot Coffee 2.0 but now with the “removed” songs hidden within the game files that can be restored. :stuck_out_tongue:

Also YongYea talked about the Definitive Edition in his latest video.

While this is happening, I’m playing the original version of Vice City with no major headache, listening to Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean on Flash FM. :stuck_out_tongue:

The games are fun, but the enhancements outside of gameplay changes are ass.
