But if I use something for entertainment like YouTube and every Static Advertisement is the same thing as I scroll down through videos that’s when I have issues. I too have my limits Google.
A variety of ways.
- Cheering themselves on and saying the arrests prove that the cops work for the Puppeteers, so they will have no guilt in bringing and using guns next time
- Convincing themselves that everything that happened was a Soros plot, including the woman who was shot being a deep cover infiltrator, no really.
- Deciding this means that Donald and Q were traitors all along and there was no plan, it was all an elaborate ruse to prevent them taking action against the Puppeteers
- Publicly posting their contact information so they can keep receiving guidance, no really.
- Generally changing their story on an hourly basis to try to find a narrative that maintains that they are the heroes. They’re more dangerous and unstable than before, though becoming less unified as their platforms are taken away.

man… that’s quite the cognitive dissonance bingo they got going on. not sure whether to be relieved that they’re fracturing or worried that this is a stop-gap before getting more organised.
Say I do wonder, the President can hand out blanket pardons, right? I’ve read it happened after the Civil War, when Confederate Soldiers were pardoned.
What would stop Trump from doing something like that? He has nothing to lose and I doubt he cares about his reputation as long as he has his fan club.

In theory yes, though:
- Working out the wording could be tricky since they haven’t properly charged or even confirmed the identity of many of the people involved in the insurrection
- The President can only pardon federal crimes, so they would still be on the hook for state crimes such as breaking-and-entering, trespassing, vandalism, etc
- While there is a long history of presidents pardoning despicable people - this is usually done as a “good will” gesture such as pardoning Confederates or pardoning Nixon as an attempt to “show who’s the bigger man” by letting a heinous criminal avoid consequences. Pardoning your own despicable people generally leads to investigation and calls for impeachment (happened with Clinton).
The first thing would be giving a shit enough to do it - he doesn’t really care about these people and they’re not really of any value to him aside from as footsoldiers. The second thing he and his family are already under investigation after the last batch of pardons since if there is a definite quid-pro-quo or other illegal factor in the decision to pardon, it can both invalidate the pardon and make the pardoner liable for criminal charges.
Since rumours were circulating about pardons being for sale, the justice department is obligated to investigate and since the majority of those investigations will take place under the Biden administration… Donnie’s probably not super confident about the outcome.

hasn’t he already pardoned peeps? that flynn chap, for example. i doubt he’s inclined to do it for scrubs given the lack of benefit to himself and the fact there is real talk about 25th/impeachment.
This is one reason why they will have him impeached, because they fear he will pardon someone arrested for the attack on Capitol Hill, sounds like it will be very soon, possible as early as upcoming Monday:

Why on earth would they reject that? Would this cost the British Government anything? I’m forgetting you British are still stuck with Boris Johnson as the Primeminister…

Assuming that is actually going to happen. Lots of Republicans obviously would vote against this. Not sure if there would be enough dissidents to make the impeachment succeed. There’s also the question how quickly the President can pardon someone. If all he needs to do is singing a form he can do it a basically five minutes before his impeachment and it still sticks.
Maybe it’s just me but one guy being able to overture a court verdict just because he feels like it doesn’t sound very democratic to me.

Yeah, that have been just a big mess, as you maybe remember, I thought in the beginning that this could work, with same deal/involvement we norwegians have with the EU, but you have been right from the start even before the Referendum started, Brexit was a bad idea and still is.

Well given all the other illegal shit on Parler, this really not that surprising - but largely it’s amusing because due to the above mentioned limitations on pardons - best case scenario (for them) a lot of them would be posting confessions to crimes they can’t be pardoned for.
Best case scenario (for us) is that it’s a sting operation by the FBI which will both net a bunch of confessions (and location details) along with shatter trust in all the other Parler accounts claiming to belong to other official figures (or in Ivanka’s case, offical).
Impact on impeachment is going to be negligible, since the biggest obstacle to that is now that Mitch McConnel and Mike Pence don’t have a literal mob outside calling for the blood (such are the rewards of those who enabled Trump) they’re getting cold feet about going all in on the impeachment, and while they couldn’t necessarily stop it they could delay it and create problems to try to make Biden and the Democrats look bad.

I could’ve worked – or at least beem less of a train wreck – if they actually had a plan and realistic expectations instead of “the EU will give us everything we want for free”.
