I’ve been looking through the Epstein files the same way others watch true crime documentaries, and I gotta say I feel for whatever civil servant in Bondi’s office had to trawl through hundreds of photos of measurements of Epstein’s briefcases, or court filings on how to divide up restitution funds, and photos of every power outlet in the man’s house

A very puzzling kidnapping/disappearance of an individual has swept the United States these last two weeks, this is the recent “development”.
I’m getting to a point where the conspiracy theorist in me isn’t looking at this surface level and that theirs something more intricate going on.
The issue is it’s been 15 Days where there’s been no sign of life, but also no sign of death either. I just don’t see where this thing ends happily. It’s a strange thing going on.

Just my two cents: This is not a wealthy family and since the woman is sick and elderly, there’s not much physical use anyone can get out of her so I really can’t see a kidnapping being worth the effort. Because of this I wonder if there was an accidental death someone would rather keep from the spotlight. This is just where my mind goes and I could be wrong.

I don’t have access to any more information than the rest of us, but it seems to me this isn’t a professional job. The individual in the door cam footage is holstering his weapon at the front of his pants (whereas conventional training would teach the muscle memory of drawing from the hip or shoulder), and their inability to disable a camera that’s in their hands (and trying to hide it with some flowers?). A whack from a hammer and chisel would’ve taken care of that
It’s my uninformed opinion that this was an amateur grabbing an elderly lady with little foreplanning. They knew she lived there and likely assumed anyone in the suburbs has money, but were unaware of her mobility issues and chronic medical condition that hamper any plans to extricate her swiftly and hold her for a prolonged period.
Then there’s sending a ransom note to TMZ and other outlets, apparently unaware (at least, initially) that her daughter works for NBC. They allegedly asked for bitcoin, which not everybody has, and contacted TMZ which to my knowledge is a celebrity tabloid that hasn’t been big since the early 2000s. What kidnapper(s) know you have bitcoin, but not know you take daily medication? Though I guess the answer is if your family are held hostage and the kidnapper is demanding bitcoin, you get bitcoin. But the lady’s condition means the family would only have a narrow window of opportunity in which to actually do that
TL;DR I think it’s amateur(s) that aren’t smart, tried their luck, and now have a dead lady on their hands they’re unsure what to do with 
This, sadly, is the most likely scenario, I think.

The only thing I can think of to comfort me is that Paramount might’ve gotten this deal done anyway due to legal shenanigans from Trump’s team.
Block netflix. Bring up any and all kinds of anti-trust laws to slow/stop them until they give up or Paramount makes a good enough deal.
Sigh… that’s the unfortunate idea anyway
