Liberal minority.

My riding is still too close to call. The Con leads by 348 votes but there’s 3000 mail in votes to be counted tomorrow, which will probably break liberal.

Ah Amazon have realised that abusing human capital has led to poor worker retention so they are going to do everything they can to not actually improve their worker’s rights.

I am going to leave this here as well since it is important to know just how badly the Weed industry can go if left to a state or corporation.

(replying here because it is less Games News and more General News)

I was always skeptical about crypto currency as a concept, but given how much they hurt us in the time of chip shortages and climate change they don’t come with anything that outweighs that. Nice to see China doing a move here.

Meanwhile, in the land of free market, the invisible hand fixes the problem of ship shortages.
… Oh no wait, it does not. It actually makes it worse.

https://www.marketwatch.com/story/white-house-again-raises-using-defense-act-to-address-chip-shortage-11632445117

The government considers to use some defense act if the companies are not transparent enough about which chips they need and how much they have in their warehouses.

America even offers China help to solve local problems regarding covid and nature catastrophes, also to establish an early warning system. (Can’t find an English source for that atm)

Also, to point out another good move by China, they decided to not invest/build new coal power plants at all anywhere on the globe.

Now let’s see what they do about their existing power structure…

Definitely. It is a move that should be done by various countries, not just China. But meanwhile their miners are still active in Iran (due to the chip electricity fees) under IRGC’s watch.

Exhibit two:

The links are old, but the fact is still valid.
