they find a globe in a secret passage with treasure inside. Lots of big globes around Dartmoor too.

I think i might have found something concrete this time.
I was confused why sometimes 47 breaks off the horn but he leaves it on the statue.
Other times he takes it right away.
It turns out that if you break off the horn from the right side while facing away from the unicorn, 47 will break it without taking it.
I broke both horns but didn’t take them.
then I collected the other 2 horns.
(as well as the 2 baseballs and casefile but no idea if this is related)
and now when i try to take the last 2 remaining horns i find a smaller horn underneath!

Two things I found, one is that the globes are breakable, and then there are quite a few eagle statues. Related…?

I will mention that (IMO) it seems kinda odd that there’s no basement/cellar for such a place.
Edit: But; water line + basement = bad idea. 
My pondering is based on the house, not the location the house is built upon. And that’s where I run into a problem.

It’s more realistic than having a basement. Dartmoor is quite watery, any holes in the ground would quickly fill up.

I think it’s more weird that there’s no attic like do they need to go from the outside to check the roof

- I keep going back to the secret room near Rebecca’s room.
It’s the only secret room with no actual purpose.
One room has the map. One room had the letter. One room has the horn.
This 4th room however serves no purpose and had no items to pick up. the window also happens to look out onto the well.
(Whatsup with the J+T carved on the well)
- Something is up with the butler near Patrick. (The one who is in love with the maid) Patrick sends him to look for a button in the cemetery. I followed him but he just looks around for awhile then he sits on a bench near the greenhouse. If you knock out patrick, he comes back. Feels like there’s something more to this.

I also need to try breaking stuff with various items (like the Ile of sgail EE where you have to break the jars with a crowbar)

I’m fairly certain Patrick only does that so he can hit on the maid with no one around. If 47 is in the staff disguise he’ll demand 47 go look for the “button”.

I (too) was messing about in Dartmoor. I was looking at the horse/unicorn statue, to see if it’s looking at something since it’s not straight. There’s a Lion Head fountain on a wall looking at the unicorn (and 4 smaller lion faces on the sides of the Unicorn fountain). Anyway, I got a shovel and went crawling through a few of the bushes that let you hide. Usually when you’re holding a shovel (and playing with a controller that can vibrate) you’ll feel it when you get close to a spot you can dig.
Obviously, I didn’t find anything.

Yeah I patrolled the whole level inch by inch with the Cane and the shovel looking for secret switches or digs.
It occurred to me that I keep starting off as the detective. Maybe it only activate when you wear the default suit like the Hitman Noir EE

just about to give up when i noticed that lion head looks like it might be able to move to the right. thought it was a shadow but nothing else could be casting the exact same sized square. (sorry for the crap photo)

This new investigation reminds me of the time when I was investigating Whittleton Creek.
On the map, there’s multiple axes, two of which can only be obtained via EEs.
As there’s a statue of a man holding an axe, I thought that it would lead to something else, but I was never able to find anything.
It’d be nice if the devs could confirm the existence of certain EEs instead of us slowly losing our sanity whilst trying to find something that potentially doesn’t exist.

Didnt found a third one either, but theres a smaller one in the secret room which opens with the cane. However its not breakable like the other two. But it sits prominently on a pile of books. But im sure you found it yourself.

This is normal for climates that have lots of rain or ground is considered too liquid. The house would float up and would start to break apart.
Foundations have to be below the frost line. So you will see basements up north because the foundations have to be deeper in colder climates.
So it would make sense architecturally that there is a large attic storage rather than a cellar or basement.
