The cats remind me of Control. There was a pretty convoluted lucky cat Easter egg in that game.

You can shoot anywhere, there are 4 as of current.
I think it’s just a landmark as Farrah mentioned the noisy neighbour.

Yeah I could only find four myself. Might be something, might be nothing. I find it odd that IO would add a feature that when shooting a buoy, the flight would flicker like that. The bells too.
Bells have been a reoccurring Easter Egg item to shoot. When I was the first to find the Sapienza Kraken Easter Egg and the Marrakesh raining moose Easter Egg, they required shooting bells. Other EE’s I found such as the Elephants one requires you to shoot.
Colorado had bells to shoot for wickerman.
You shoot a lot of things so I am 99% guaranteed that is part of an EE, considering they programmed a reaction to it (flashing lights).

Maybe it ties in with the golden cats eh?
It’s a possibility or could be a total separate EE, that’s the tricky part lol. Also the pigeons you shoot could play a role.
The buoys on Isle of Sgail also flash when shot so actually might be a red herring
Scouring the map looking for a fourth cat but no luck yet.

I found the 5 cats myself, I did use freecam from the ZHMModSDK to speed up my search though. I noticed the bubbles shortly after shooting the final one.

When you shoot one of them, smoke appears, it’s likely that.

For me ZHMModSDK broke after the previous update (RTX patch). Is there an update available somewhere? The Github repo hasn’t been touched in months.
Yes, a fork has updated it, it isn’t fully updated for this patch (it fails to hook two functions), but majority of it works, it also has some QoL changes: GitHub - grappigegovert/ZHMModSDK: A modding SDK for Hitman 3

Maybe thats what they were referring to on the easter eggs t-shirt. Not the cats in Chongqing as most of us thought.
