I noticed that my PC import did not transfer the completion of mission stories from Hitman 2. It did transfer the challenges though. weird…
I’m almost certain it didn’t transfer for a majority of players as mine also didn’t transfer along with escalation progress.
Overall though it’s pretty easy to complete the mission stories because you only need to complete them and rather not kill the target, unless they’re dependent on a kill.

They’ve stated that Mission Story progress does not carry over.
We also do not carry over progress on Escalation Contracts or Mission Stories. Those will be reset to 0 in HITMAN 3 after completing the progression carryover.
