Well jus reinstalled and again over 1 hour everything is fine. now disconnected again permanently. I made 1 save exactly. On PC. I did carry over.
So I caved in and did the progress carryover (I wanted the Signature Suit with Gloves 
), everything looks okay, but all escalations is at level 1, I have all the unlocks, because I did all in Hitman 1 and 2, will this progress be updated later?
Escalation levels donāt carry over for some reason, I think it is confirmed that is expected behavior.

Completed escalations, feature contracts and Mission Stories / Opportunities are not carried over.
IOI had promised progression carryover of unlocks (which is of primary importance), but that the other stuff that isnāt carried over is less essential.
Those completionists who want to repeat the un-carried over content can do so if it is important to them.

I was a bit sad when I discovered I didnāt have 100% done in both Hitman 1 and 2 anymore, I really donāt want to do all the Escalations a 3rd time, not the Story Missions either, so I think I have to learn to live with it, most important is the unlocks like you said, I have all of them (except Requiem Pack, which is a bug and will be fixed).

You can convince your brain that you did the escalations and story missions and you wonāt repeat them despite the fact that IOI says that they need to be re-done.
Or you can redo them.

If I miss the 100% really bad I can also download Hitman 2 with Hitman 1 Legacy for my PS4, it should say 100% there and maybe looking at 100% there would ease my pain. 
True, Iām playing through the story in Hitman 1 and 2 and thatās why I discovered missing challenges, I think I will forget about it when I really start (played only Dubai so far) Hitman 3. 
The glory of completion.
Just donāt go to those annoying reminder screens telling your brain that you must repeat what you have done already.

Waitā¦ hang onā¦ my Santa Suit is missing, not a big deal, but I wonder where it is, I canāt tell if Iām missing more themed suits though.
Is there any update on when Hitman2 Legacy owners on Steam will receive it on Epic without having to purchase it again?

I donāt think there is, no. Theyāve been dealing with server implosions. Probably havenāt had time to deal with that yet if I had to take a guess.
Anyone surprised they havenāt deployed an update for the missing stuff as of yet? Or am I assuming thatās an easy job and a fix Isnt?
The problem is that you wonāt get 100% on H3 as a whole.

Why not, are some of the challenges broken?
The āGrapes of Wrathā challenge (pacify someone with grapes) in Mendoza is the only bugged challenge Iām aware of.
And you canāt complete the Contracts Track 2 challenges because we donāt have 45 Featured Contracts set in the ICA Facility or the new maps yet.
Getting the servers working for everyone wouldāve been a higher priority. Plus they will bundle it in with the first bug fixes patch at the earliest - isnāt worth them paying Sony and MS to publish a patch that only restores missing items.

Escalations from the previous game(s) count towards the whole of H3.
You can give me a hitman 3 progress carryover tutorial from 0. i mean i have hitman 2 and last night i got hitman 3 full. If I enter the IOI account before making the transfer, etc. Iām on PS4. Please
I think we can safely say IOI had Imogen Royce managing their servers for launch day, and supervising the seamless transfer of player dataā¦

Has there been any word at all on how PC owners of 2 are going to get access to the levels? Iām starting to get nervous. They said āin the coming weeksā and there hasnāt been a word in two weeks since.
