Hello, so ive got the hitman 1 game for free some years ago in epic games. Now when i download it and trying to run it, i get this error message saying that the game is still running. I also read online that the game its self its not on sale anymore and you can access it only through woa. Is there any way i can still play the game, since i have it in the library, without buying the whole woa game?
I have same situation except the game is not installed.
Launched installation and it works fine despite the game is not on the store any more.
I’ll get back once is has installed with any news.
Meanwhile I would recommend either check for game files integrity or reinstall it as well

The game starts alright.
Maybe you just need to reboot your PC or kill the game process

I reinstalled it, restarted my pc and did the verify integrity of game files thing that epic has as an option. I also tried running it as administrator but nothing worked. Even when i open the task manager the game is not there, only the epic games launcher. Its like its not running at all or the launcher is blocking it.
That is peculiar.
Unfortunately I can’t think of the reason.
When I installed it today it launched straight away not giving the habitual launcher
-skip_launcher in the game properties could work.
