Hitman 2 DLC New York and Haven Island missing

I have Hitman 2 installed. Steam also shows I have both the DLCs for Haven Island and New York. I have previously played the 2 levels as well.

I later installed Hitman 3. I now want to replay Hitman 2 but found that the game somehow grey out the two missions and says I don’t have access to them.

Any ideas how to solve this?

@Bishop Do you mean you are trying to play the missions on Hitman 3/WOA? If so, you will have to buy the DLC for 3, it doesn’t carry over from Hitman 2.

I have Hitman 2 + the 2 DLC, I also have Hitman 3. I cannot play the DLC for H2 after installing H3. I tried to carry over H2 as prompted by the game when I installed H3 but somehow it failed. Thereafter I lost all progress on H2 and can’t play the DLCs. How can I carry over H2 to H3?

That’s no longer possible, sadly. You’d have to repurchase the DLC.

Afaik the DLC is non transferrable regardless of your progress transfer. You will have to re-buy the DLC for Hitman 3 to play NY/Haven.

Thanks. But this is super stupid. Why would I need to buy the same DLC twice because IOI decides to incorporate all 3 games into one?

Already been discussed many times here and there.
Sadly there are no other options atm :confused:
