Good job formatting all of this
and congratulations to OzzyGirl! I love that IO puts titles on each of its bug fixes ![]()
Hereâs hoping for one-click loading into the Freelancer safehouse!
I also havenât got the duck as @stordoff said however I play on steam. Itâs been a week since I completed the ET and Iâve also completed both levels of the arcade version twice the last time being on the 5th. Any chance we can have this looked into? Thanks for your time and hope you have a great day!
Only just realised that this patch (or perhaps the one before it) has killed my usual go to strategy for the Politician ET. The box to open the garage door used to be interactable without a lock pick - which makes logical sense that it would be open as youâre inside. But now it needs a lockpick to open the door. ![]()
These are the sort of changes I wish they wouldnât make to the game. For long term players, things like this is just an annoyance that something has just changed seemingly on a whim that wasnât a bug.
Since a recent update, some garages in Whittleton have been exhibiting strange behavior.
I suspect this is likely due to changes made to the specifications around the garage doors.
Hawks Bay may also have been affected by this.
Ah. So its just bugged rather than a random change. Thats somewhat better then.
There are no mentions about the severe fatal bug in Chongqing, when game is crashing while leaving the facility disguised as facility analyst. Anyone cares? Itâs SEVERE.
Whatâs the circumstances and route?
I just tried to start mission as analyst and relocated through streets to Hashâs quarters with no crashes.
Any specific places or actions to test?
Curious, it is crashing at all routes every time guaranteed. Maybe youâve run too fast. It is crashing when the suit tries to become wet under the rain
Tried same route in walking pace outside with circling around.
A minor milisecond lag happened, but game is live.
Did you try usual medicine like updating drivers and clearing shader cache?
Iâve done everything, and it didnât help
Seems like it works for me.
All I can suggest is reinstall the game and get rid of mods youâre happen to be using.
I know couple of mods Iâm using crashing the game, because they havenât been updated unlike the game.
So personally I running no mods until and if they are updated
Iâve done it already. As for mods, Iâve never played with it.
Iâve had regular crashes when leaving the facility in any disguise. Had to adjust the graphics settings to low and it worked. Settings werenât a problem on any other maps. Have you tried this?
The usual medicine, I love that
Iâm going to start using that (just not in clinical settings
)
Itâs not about caring or not, itâs just never happened to me or anyone Iâve talked to before. Obviously, we canât fix any bugs without the ability to reliably reproduce them (nor can anyone else!)
I took a look at the Analystâs lerps for you, which control how the game alters light reactions to a given suitâs materials based on how long youâve been in the rain (or, more simply, it makes the suit look wet)
All the lerps for the Analyst disguise look completely normal to me, and all three variations are basically identical, as you might imagine. Thereâs one tiny difference in specifically Xiao Mingâs variation, but it shouldnât make a difference based on what it is.
More info
Xiao Ming doesnât have postInit: true set on the HeadMaterialOverride like the others do. This should make no difference, but if Xiao Mingâs outfit doesnât crash and Mr. Pritchardâs (which does have it set) does crash, then maybe thereâs a connection.
Based on this I think itâs most likely though that the cause is not actually the suit trying to become wet, but some other thing thatâs happening at the same time.
Itâs too much time of tries and errors, so I havenât tried it yet, BUT! it must work independently of settings⌠Or not?
Sometimes I do like to play with words ![]()
