Strange! I did yesterday a run on Dartmoor on Master mode (after patch) and I was able to choose any exit possible.

Stepladder help me I’m stuck :eye::lips::eye:

Here’s a “bug” that is ridiculously easy to fix and that should’ve been fixed 6 years ago in 2016 with Hitman 1: When 47 is slow walking, Let. Him. Ascend and Descend. Stairs. At. NPC. Pace.

It would probably take 2 minutes max to copy-map the established NPC stairs ascension/descension animation as 47’s own slow walk stairs ascension/descension animation. As-is, the slow walking mechanic is completely useless and unresponsive if you are ascending/descending stairs, regardless of whether or not the player has it engaged.

It’s immersion-breaking to go from sleuth-walking at a comparable pace to NPCs to suddenly blitzing by them once you start ascending stairs. I don’t care what the excuse is. Fix soon pls, IOI.

“47 is genetically modified to take stairs two at a time. He literally cannot help himself. It’s a feature, not a bug.”

I don’t know if it would be THAT easy as you think it is. Though I agree it should be slowed down, since it makes following NPCs pretty harsh.

The stair-walking animation not conforming to the actual stairs themselves is also probably in place to not break up the pace of movement in the game, so I don’t know if outright copying the NPC’s animation itself would be ideal. You’d be railroaded into a stiff, slow walking animation.

Making a smooth, believable stair-climbing animation has been a huge hurdle for games in general. Recently I can remember Lost Judgement getting a lot of buzz, for having a believable Escalator Staircase animation that flows extremely smoothly with the rest of the game.

I think there’s a fundamental problem with how walking on stairs work in real life and how fast we expect a character in video games to move.

They could probably bump NPC stair walking speed a bit but I don’t think they could make a playable character walk that slow without it becoming infuriating.

Well it shouldn’t. It’s the bullets that make the quack. Otherwise it can be confusing for some ppl and you know ioi how they hold the hand for “some ppl”, aka the removal of shoulder swap. lol

That doesnt make any sense I think they just didnt put in a quack sound no psychology needed

The duck sounds are the bullets. If you shoot a loaded gun, what makes the sound? The bullets. If the gun is empty, does it make the same sound? No.

So where is the psychology not there?
