I’m a little bit late to the party but I had a touch on the new patch on Hitman 3:
Unlock the Yellow Rabbit Suit/unlock The Ducky Gun
The new unlocks are purely cosmetic. Not a big fan but why not? To be honest, I’ve no opinion on this.
Player Profile Limit
We’ve increased the maximum Player Profile level from 5,000 to 7,500
Never thought that some people have reached such levels! I’m hardly above 1000 ! I don’t know how so much XP can be gained.
Master Difficulty
What Is Thy Bidding, My Master? We’ve tweaked the Master Difficulty
A good thing! Till now, no differences have been pointed out between Pro and Master mode. Now these tweaks make Master mode more in line with the Master mode of previous levels of H2.
Inventory Limit
We’ve resolved an issue where some players would experience items missing
A welcome fix
It was quite odd to get some items absent when we would like to smuggle guns or something else. Now, I can choose the item I exactly want.

We’ve resolved an issue where the planning page for Contracts Mode did not always show whether a complication was optional

Polar Properties
We’ve resolved an issue that caused the Polar Survival Suit to not function like a regular suit
How no It was something interesting as this suit works differently from the others. For example, in a SASO run, it was a nice suit for Paris as it forces 47 to avoid the public area of the auction on 2nd floor as the suit was considered “trespassing” previously. Thus, other routes must be selected to reach Dalia Margolis.
Elusive Target Arcade Intel
We’ve fixed the issue where intel found in any Elusive Target Arcade missions did not award players experience. They do now!
Very good, always nice to get XP from any mode.
Elusive Target Arcade the first batch
These have been removed to match the new version of less restricted Elusive Target Arcades
Really good! On PS4, it’s still the unique way to replay these missions. By removing the mandatory restrictions, it allows to play ET missions like a regular one (I don’t care having 5*, what is important is SA). Good way to try some SASO runs for ET. I’ve done these runs for some of them but not all, because some restrictions (like only one KO) are very hard to circumvent (at least for me).
All Seeing Eyes
We’ve resolved an issue where important dialogue during the ‘All Seeing Eyes’ Mission Story was sometimes not triggered or displayed in subtitles.
Was somehow disturbing when the subtitles didn’t show up.
Isle of Scat1620: Missing Grey
We’ve resolved an issue where Lucas Grey was missing from the Isle of Sgail opening cutscene.

Playing Dartmoor on Master first time after this update and I noticed that on your first playthrough, only the bike exit is available. On subsequent runs all the rest will unlock. Kinda like the Colorado tornado shelter. It seems they like they reset it after making changes to Master mode?
Also the elevator doors are reset in Dubai.
If you’re interested in unique SASO runs, I suggest you to try a variant I came up with recently:
Silent Assassin, Suit Only, Weapon on Back (SASOWOB in short).
Basically you’re obligated to start every mission with briefcase containing a large weapon and as mission start you need to take weapon out and never drop it.
I know it’s not exactly a compliment but it changes every map into SASO Colorado with every single NPC becoming an enforcer.
I tested it and it’s possible to complete every main mission and special assignment that way (didn’t tested H1 bonus missions yet).
Update: H1 bonus missions are possible to complete like that (but they’re mostly really challenging).
Conversly, it broke a lot of the levels, and not just in an abusable way either, more of an “you literally cannot use this suit on certain levels”, like in Paris, where you have to avoid public spaces.
I don’t find it nice that suits completely defy the games’s ruleset, even if they look silly. That’s not something nice, that’s just frustrating.

That’s one of my personal challenge that I enjoy the most. SASO with Masamune is satisfying.
Agree with you, except on Paris, where only auction levels are not accessible with the Polar suit. The other public areas were still accessible. I used that suit only for specific levels like Paris.
Though, this suit was completely useless for other maps, notably Hokkaido. I understand that this suit was “too broken”.

I read a YouTube comment stating that they scaled back some of the old-school reflections in the game to make room for Ray Tracing. So effectively, the rest of us have worse reflections now. Anyone noticed if there’s any truth to that?

Nah, that would defeat the purpose of run where you’re supposed to be a ghost (pretty much how it is in Splinter Cell games).
From what I have noted, this is not true. Planars and SSR look like before. And most surfaces that use planar tech (like mirrors), keeps the same old school technique* whatever the setting you use. RTR is not used for these surfaces, probably because IO still wants to use his old technique which is more accurate in some cases like mirrors.
*Confirmed yesterday in latest Digital Foundry’s video.
