Think we’ll get the April roadmap/season of greed today?
They keep stressing they´re just getting started when they tweet about content. I wonder if that means the stuff we expect keeps rolling out for the foreseeable future or if theres more big stuff yet to be announced.

With HITMAN and HITMAN 2, both started out with pretty small content updates and gradually got more impressive/big. I would say things will get bigger and better.

Well we know that the main focus of each “season” will be whatever the Sin DLC content is, but given that the seasons are 4-6 weeks long, if there isn’t a lot of other content in there, they are likely to end up dropping players. Since release, they’ve been doing about one additional piece of content per week. Some weeks that’s a featured contract set (with 5 contracts). Some weeks it’s an elusive target. Some weeks has been an escalation. I don’t think there’s been a week since release where some new (to Hitman 3) content hasn’t been released so I expect them to keep that sort of cadence.
If they go two or three weeks without any new content, that risks players getting bored with the game and not returning to it (out of sight, out of mind). I doubt that they want that to happen. It’s probably easiest to just release a series of featured contracts as other creators actually do the work of creating those or possibly re-running elusive contracts as they already exist and only need to be turned on. They could easily run an elusive contract every other week and have a year’s worth of content already created. Hopefully if they do that they’ll sprinkle in the new Hitman 3 contracts too though.
I am betting that there will be the same rough schedule of one new content piece per week going forward with the DLC taking that slot every 4-6 weeks along with other “lesser” escalations, featured contracts, elusive targets, and patches the same way they’ve done for the last few months. I very much doubt we’ll see special assignments or bonus missions though unless they’re part of a DLC package.
Just updated and launched my game. It’s running even worse than before, atleast for me.

I think he’s just advertising Hitman 3’s content updates. That quote sounds like he’s saying even though we won’t see a new game for a while, we can expect updates to the WoA at least through the year. (The roadmaps/seasons we’re accustomed to)
Non Agent 47 content would be interesting though. I can think of at least a few people around here that would go crazy for it

Maybe, but with this quote it sounds like this content is something abnormal or planned for something specific. Something cool “to talk about sometime in the future” strikes me as something not-regular-like-content-updates.
Either that, or it is about content updates, but there’s a special juicy one coming in the near future.
It feels too vague to be just about the regular updates and additions.

I lean toward that second point you made. Marketing is all about making even your standard offers sound extra special to your consumers, especially for outsiders that don’t know how IO does post-launch like we do.
I’m sure they have something special beyond just the Sins stuff, I’m expecting at least 1 or 2 decent sized free additions in the next year. After how well H3 sold they’re probably working hard to roll out more post launch content.

Seriously tho, if we did get non-47 content I’m not sure if I’d want it with a pre-established character or not. It really depends how long they’d plan to run it for. DLC sized content would benefit from us already knowing the character and just being able to jump head in, but would have the limitation of adhering to that characters motivations/past. A new character would offer more creative freedom but also more work to establish so might fit a larger piece of content better.
If it is just WoA DLC then surely it must be a Grey mission (and @Mini can finally satiated). Either way very interested to see what comes of this

Maybe some of the Sins DLCs will feature alternate player skins. Grey could fit the Wrath theme well. Agent Carlton could fit into Sloth.
Granted, each pack is going to contain a suit and some items, but maybe completing that piece of content unlocks that NPC-themed reward for 47.
(Although, the pack is advertised as going “Deep into the mind of Agent 47”, so this is a bit unlikely.)
