Description : In the intro cutscene (original starting location) Gray can’t be seen. 47 is riding the boat alone - and once off shore, the boat leaves on its own. It happens every time I restart the mission, as well.
Steps to reproduce:
Start the game
Load the Isle of Sgail mission in original starting location (I also used the Arkian Tuxedo, but it worked with the default as well)
Unfortunately this bug has been around from ages, starting from H2. It happens with many devices, like the emetic tool when put in a briefcase and the snail bomb in the sloth sin dlc I recently bought. I honestly doubt it will be fixed, and it’s especially bad they release new tools without fixing it. Thanks for reporting this new occurrence.
If you already have the claw hammer unlocked and are trying to complete the new hammer challenge for completionist sake, the challenge will not work if you select the hammer in your loadout. It will only work if you pick up a hammer within the location.
I’d like to know the answer to that one too as I tried it with the hammer from my inventory too and noticed it didn’t work.
It may not technically be a bug though. There are other items like “Jarl’s Saber” which doesn’t work as a “saber” that have that same effect though on contracts that require specific weapons.
Bullet holes don’t get registered before death of the npc.
The bullet holes don’t get registered until you kill the NPC… Excluding the last shot. So if you shoot an NPC in the chest no blood wounds will appear. Only the last shot which kills him will appear and the shots which were fired after the death of the NPC. Makes shotgun wounds very weird because just one of the 20 that went into your target will be visible (shotgun spread)
Just sent this bug ticket to IOI a few days ago.
No Noticed Kills bonus is broken. It can get removed if you get spotted KO-ing an NPC.
They just got back to me and I’m being a good boy and following their instructions of reinstalling the game today, then clearing the console cache. Though I doubt it’s an issue on my side, since it relates to the scorecard
Just in case however, can other people on consoles replicate this issue? Just to make sure this isn’t specific to PS4.
They also want footage of other maps than Chongqing, which I’ll try to record later. I’m sure this is across the entire game though since I’ve experienced it in plenty of Contracts locations already.
As an extension to this, this happens in every location in so many places on PS5. Basically anywhere that you can place an item, you’ll get this white outline around ledges, the ground etc.
I was under the impression that it was to help figure out where you’re placing an item (such as if you’re placing it on a cluttered desk, you want to place it on top of the book on the desk, instead of under the book on the desk.) and the prop that gets highlighted shows where it gets placed.
But if it’s affecting terrain too that’s a bit weird.
It was a completely dead end with no options except closing the game forcibly.
After opening game again and loading the latest save the game loaded exit screen at last, but the loading lasted for some time
While playing the ET, I had an idea to thin out some of the guards using the cellar. Turns out you can’t hide behind/press against the corners inside the entry, nor are you able to crouch when over by the wall with the pinned pictures. In the screenshot below I’m spamming the crouch button.
This is likely not related to the ET, but probably the stage in general. Like, they removed the ability to use stealth because you’d never need it during a cutscene.
