With Freelance mode coming up I am concerned about the xp-system-bug I had already reported (HITMAN 3 - Bug Report Thread - #2479 by Shelly).
In the promotion video for Freelance Mode I saw there is alot of XP to be earned for certain actions being performed. And Freelance Mode is a campaign mode, so I expect/assume alot of saving is being done.
Would be a shame if all these XP points won’t get added to your total, so this is the reason I will address this bug again.
Steps to reproduce:

Start up “Another Life” in “Whittleton Creek” and equip the Kalmer for easy takedowns.

Take down the civilian guard silently; make sure you get +25xp for the takedown.

Save the game, then exit to menu.

Go to career and note down the total performance XP for “Whittleton Creek”.

Load the saved game and now take down the jogger silently. The game states you get +25 xp.

Exit to menu, go to career and check the total perfomance XP for “Whittleton Creek” again. You will see that nothing is added to the total.

Even when you fully finish the mission, this silent takedown is not in the mission summary.

Sidenote:
I still think this all has to do with the fact that IOI did not want us to harvest XP by saving the game just before a target kill and then load the game over and over gain to get the kill points over and over again.
I would suggest to allow it now. I mean, when you play the deluxe esclation in Carpathian Mountains, there you can already endlessly harvest XP with multiple target kills in rapid succession.
IOI have always had it so if you were to lets say lockpick a door and get x amount, apon reloading and lock picking the same door it wont give you any xp, it’ll say in grey the door unlocked thing but you don’t get any extra xp
Maybe they can add an option to disable poisoned vapors from food and drinks.

Description: NPC pop in here is really bad. If done for optimization purposes on consoles I can understand, but the draw distance, especially on PC here seems way too close to the player.

I couldn’t complete Mission Opportunity with Statue and band, because there wasn’t a 4th band member anywhere. Game asked me to join band, but afterwards nothing happened - Rico don’t come to village. 4th band member was this near poster sleeping on bench. He just dissapered from map. Also that event could be triggered even I’ve killed Rico (opportunity should be missed)

I always found it made sense as Andrea hasn’t got a clue that Rico has just passed away yet (nor have anyone else) so surly the celebration would continue until Rico is set to be on stage, then Andrea or something would say the shows over.

At least that is being honest if the activity is greyed out.
On my Xbox edition it keeps giving you the score amounts!
But my main concern was about the Freelance Mode coming up. We won’t want 150 xp points greyed out, now do we? ![]()

After starting a mission opportunity “A Dress to die for” when I’ll try to show a Cloth and arrange an audience - nothing is happening when i trigger this. NPC is stading still. (I’m using Cerulen Cloth Bundle). When I distract NPC with an object - dialog option is reseted, but problem occurs again.
EDIT: I’ve discovered what is a real issue. In previous run I couldn’t buy a cloth from Tailor because there wasn’t such a dialogue - so I’ve steal it (used a Fuse Box to distract him), and that brings karma that I couldn’t talk to Servant. But after loading a save and starting whole Opportunity again - I could buy a cloth from tailor and everything went fine.

It doesn’t (at least on Xbox One) hide you from the guard in the main mission either.
No, you actually shouldn’t. There are two variations - blend in which hide you from enforcers, and lean on/sit down, which does not hide you from them. This one has purely cosmetic purposes.
But Santa Fortuna seems to be really buggy. First that cloth on statue, then band member is missing (quite literally).

Description: 47 has a specific walking animation when he holds a pistol, where he holds the gun at an angle. This animation changes back to the default walk animation after a certain period of time (i.e. the game thinks 47 is no longer holding a gun). This has been an issue since partway through Hitman 2’s lifecycle.

Ice Axe can’t be taken on mission in normal gear slot (don’t show as option to pick) but it’s an item that can be easily holster during mission. It’s a bug or feature?

It’s a feature. The ICA Combat Axe also needs to be taken in via an agency pickup or briefcase.
So actually like on security check on airport - you can’t take your mountain equipment in hand luggage, only in registered luggage - so IOI take care about realism ![]()

All of the save file thumbnails have what I assume is the contrast turned up way, way too high. Everything is super dark-looking. Despite the fact my game looks nothing like that, never has.

Reporting this once again (I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve done this by now). Since the May 2021 patch, the saving icon will more often than not get stuck on the screen and will never disappear until the player either pauses the game or completes the mission. This happens most regularly when the game (for some reason) tries to save something as soon as you load into the mission and the opening cutscene starts playing.
I know I probably shouldn’t, but I’m tagging @Travis_IOI and @Clemens_IOI because this has plagued the game for 18 months and nothing seems to be happening.
