This type of thing happens in Bangkok too; NPCs on another floor hear / see something that guards right next to the sound don’t.
Shoot out the camera in the basement by the back entrance of the hotel.
1/3 or more of the time the NPC abov ewill hear it resulting in either “gunshot heard” or even the extreme “crime noticed” from that NPC, but… the two guards who patrol the hall on the other side of
the cam are oblivious. The first time this happened I got rushed by a whole slew of guards from the door…
I got away just in time as they all swarmed around the camera.
My favorite broken distraction though is when an NPC is right next to a sound, but the character across the room instead goes to it. This is most prevelent for things like explosive phones. Dropped one a a target’s feet. The target was untouched by the explosion though b/c a waitress is who picked it up.
Said waitress walked the whole room to get to the sound.
i’ve noticed various issues with the suspect camera such as it failing to show it was over a target.
When two suspects are close it will often disallow chooing of the right suspect to mark or mark the wrong one. When choosing prime suspect if you wish to undo this you must do two steps first unchoose prime suspect and then choose to mark them as a non-target. This is tedious and if the target moves out of range while marking them it will fail to allow any marking.
Add this to the zoom bug I posted about last week and NPCs seeing your camera out as a weapon… DUH!
I think allowing one to mark/unmark suspects via the minimap should be a thing for such an occasion when doing so with the camera is blocked.
Also happens in staff bathroom, which is annoying in Freelancer when you are trying to get bodyguard who secures camera recorder (but it allows you to shoot it without raising any suspicion).

Hitman 3: Chongquing map.
2nd level of the building where the two homeless are talking about the flyers.
I climbed the ladder to the 2nd level and tossed the fire extiguisher at the floor then shot it.
The guard on the street level below is also hit by the blast and knocked out.
I don’t know if this is a bug or not but it’s surely a minor glitch.
Reproducable:
It’s mostly consistent with where I tossed the fire extinguisher near the window.

Hokkaido in Freelancer mode
Chopper pilot knocked out in corner of the guard room below the helipad.
He fell into the gap between a reward crate and the desk and became inaccessible.
If you look closely he phased through the crate too. Probably contributing to the issue.
He was shown as knocked out and luckily the roving guard and maintenance guy did not see him.
I tried to ‘encourage’ his body to move from the corner with the wrench a few times to no avail.
This has only happened once but I’ll be wary of knocking anyone out in that spot again.

NPCs get stuck in animation loop picking up dropped items.
Had this happen a few times now in Bangkok. I placed something on the floor and one of the NPCs
got stuck in an animation loop picking it up when it was in an inaccessible spot. In this instant case however I used an explosive phone on a target the courier was in the blast radius leaving behind his money. The NPCs in this clip is trying to pick up something dropped from either the courier or dead target. He was locked like this when I collected the courier loot and still like this when the mission was over so I took this short clip.
Reproducable:
It is not consistent but it’s happened more than once on this map.
Description:
When I start a mission in the HITMAN3 stage (Dubai to Ambrose Island), the “Now saving” text in the lower right corner of the screen keeping.
This keeps going on until I open the save menu or the notes menu.
It bothers me when I play tied up with the “don’t open menu”.

Load the every Hitman 3 stage mission.

The saving icon bug is something that happened on PS5 with a patch in mid-2021. Since then I’ve reported this bug so many times during so many different avenues and IO has seemingly decided to ignore every single thing I’ve sent their way.
The last patch finally fixed the “Dartmoor Drop” (as the October patch notes called it when it wasn’t actually fixed) outside Alexa’s office. The drop is also possible in the area outside Alexa’s bedroom.
If the alternative drop gets patched that last little bit of sanity I have for anything on Dartmoor’s upper floors will vanish, please let this one live!!!
Since the good one has already been patched I’d personally rather that one be patched too. It’d give me the push I need to actually learn how to get out of the mansion and past all the NPCs without cheesing. I should do it anyway really but it’s a little too hard to resist saving that time and effort. Feels like the existing ledge drop patches are a half measure that makes things more inconvenient without actually fixing the design flaw introduced by them.
As in the screen shot. The suspect marker is showing in this area but there is nobody
with a suspect marker over their head. All show “no suspects here” in the camera.
It’s only this once, but I’ll need to restart b/c I’ve killed all possible suspects and non were the target.
Either one was and it’s a glitch or the target-suspect on the map is the actual target and is somehow glitched. Either way this is a bug…
It’s after 4am and I’m too tired to fire up OBS for a video clip too.
I killed both guards and neither was a suspect nor a target and the purple X remains on the map.
Since the new Freelancer update the Sieker and Kalmer darts are no longer exchangeable with each other. At first I thought this was only in the Freelancer mode, but now it is in the regular game mode as well.
I’m not sure if this was intentional, but because this was ‘tolerated’ for years, this now ‘breaks’ custom contracts and I’m pretty sure it ‘breaks’ some featured contracts too.
The idea was that if you bring in a Kalmer next to a Sieker, you can have 3 Sieker darts (and if you bring two Kalmers you can even have 4 Sieker darts!).
So please consider to restore this, or else consider to make a second Sieker gun unlockable.
Maybe you could make it an unlockable with the “Top Dog” challenge, so that people really have to work hard to obtain it!
you’ve stated above that due to the bug/potential change for the worst that it’s necessary for some FCs so having it locked behind a long and grueling marathon of a challenge is not the smartest move
I agree. I also don’t see in general why there should be a need to have people work really hard for an unlock. We didn’t have to work really hard for the first Sieker or the two Kalmers.
I’m in favour of just implementing another challenge for it like they did with all the recently added unlocks.
Description:
After assassinating the target by overflowing the sink and throwing in a car battery,
I electrocuted myself because the electricity remained in the watering hole indefinitely.
Also, the graphic of the water field does not match the actual extent of the electric shock.
Since there is no way to visually confirm this, it is easy to get oneself caught in the middle.
Steps to reproduce:
1.Overflowing water in a sink somewhere.
2.Throw a car battery into a body of water.
3.Assassinate one target.
4.The water field remains charged.
