Here are a few bugs and translation errors I found in the “Le Chiffre”-ET
Platform: PC (Epic)
Location: Paris with the “Le Chiffre”-ET

Two Translation errors in german:

  1. The “Casino Monarchique”(100.000)-Chip has a pair of english quotation marks within the german qoutation marks. ( „“Casino Monarchique””-Jeton(100.000) instead of „Casino Monarchique”-Jeton(100.000) )
  2. At the high stakes table on the top floor, the croupier’s prompts are in Spanish, as are the ones you see when you take your seat as a croupier.

And eight Bugs:

1.Bug:
If LeChiffre is too close to the table while dressed as the croupier, if you press “G” 47 will ask LC for private conversation while taking a seat and dealing the cards to the other NPCs. Your “private” conversation will continue, until LC will eventually become fed up and sit down at the poker table

2.Bug:
You can’t use the equipable “Casino Monarchique”(100.000)-Chips to gamble

3.Bug:
General Murillo doesn’ t cower in fear when you threaten him with a gun, instead he’s trying to impress you with his mighty T-pose.

4.Bug:
You can’t kill LeChiffre with a pistol elimination when he’s running for the helicopter. 47 will do the movements, but LC just stops moving and doesn’t react to anything until he’s killed or KO’ed.

5.Bug:
If you KO LeChiffre, he can die a glitchy death, when woken up
Steps to reproduce:
I’m not entirely sure, but it is definitely reproducible

  1. Trigger LeChiffre’s escape sequence
  2. KO him
  3. If LC has been KO’ed before and is woken up or he is woken up by a different NPC than the one who found his uncouncious body, LC will glitch around and die (in a non-SA way)

But I also killed him this way, by dropping the blue egg in front of him and running away. When he was woken up, LC died.

outpu2

6.Bug:
If you KO LeChiffre while he runs to the helicopter, and he is not killed by Bug Nr.5, after he’s woken up, he has lost his urgency and will instead continue to stroll to the helicopter.

7.Bug: If you kill Le Chiffre, while being tied to the chair in the basement, and agent Smith is around, you get softlocked
Steps to reproduce:

  1. Throw a propane flask near the barrel in the basement, where Le Chiffe is going to light his cigarette
  2. Follow the story mission, don’t take out Agent Smith and don’t take the antidiote
  3. Watch Le Chiffre blowing himself up, while being tied to the chair
  4. Realize Agent Smith is not going to take on 4 Guards at once, and that you can’t escape on your own

8.Bug: If you hide in a container after the screen turns black when the poison timer ends, the camere will stay at the container, while 47 is in the basement.

Try hanging from the ledge and continuing right, then climbing up.

That’s what I did. It’s impossible to move further right and climb up.

Epic. Whittleton Creek. The Real Estate agent was showing Cassidy the basement. Before the bodyguard got to the bottom of the stairs, I turned on the T.V. I was wanting the bodyguard to check the distraction…

Somehow the RE Agent went missing, and Cassidy was talking to nobody/nothing. I couldn’t even see him in instinct… Even with a freecam mod I didn’t see him anywhere. Richard’s clone is still underground, t-posing.

I did reload and had them do the same thing. I have no idea what was different but he didn’t disappear this time.

One could probably try to mark Mr. Chandra in contracts mode and try the same set-up to see what, if anything happens.

Platform:
Steam

Location:
When the application is started.

Description:
This may be a minor issue. However, I am concerned.
Only the Steam version of HITMAN WoA is not translated into the system language when the game is launched.
EpicGames, PS, XBOX, Switch2, and any of the other consoles are translated into the system language.
I find it strange that only Steam has no translation.

Also, more than two years have passed since “HITMAN 3” was renamed to “HITMAN WoA,” but the description that appears when you start the game still says “HITMAN 3.”

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Launch “HITMAN WoA” from the Steam app.
  2. The description at startup remains in English and has not been translated.
  3. The game title is still displayed as “HITMAN3” as it was before the game was retitled.

:person_shrugging: Worked for me when I tried it on PS4 in the standard mission. I see your screenshot looks like you have some mods active, maybe one of them is interfering.

Summary

Platform:
Switch2 dock mode(auto/2160p)

Location:
Sniper Assassin Stages.

Description:
Instinctive highlighting is not working on the Sniper Assassin mode stage either.
No objects that should react when shot—gas lamps, speakers, and the like—can be found anywhere.
I think the instinct needs to be readjusted here as well, as it is part of the elements necessary for the strategy.
*Distribution panels and winches were never objects highlighted in Instinct to begin with.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. start the Sniper Assassin mode.
  2. use your instincts to look around the stage.
  3. none of the various objects that should be prominent are highlighted.

Playing the ‘YepItsPurple’ FCs, the last WC where you kill Janus’ guards as a Cassidy guard.

I go into the house for sale, go to the top floor to shoot the guard on the bench with an SMG, to get him to come to my location. It’s an exploit, btw. advanced technique (most casuals might not know about it) that manipulates guard NPCs to come to the location you shot at them from. Which comes in very handy when said guard/s is/are your target/s.

Instead of him running to the place where I shot from, he goes to where or near where I changed disguises from the Exterminator to a Cassidy guard. No. It wasn’t to any random place.

Anyway, playing on Epic. But, assuming this is a bug, I’m sure it’d be present on all platforms.

Edit: Maybe it was because I shot him / at him with the weapon (an SMG) I got from that particular guard.

It’s not an exploit, it’s behaviour implemented back in Hitman 2 to make guards react to sniping more fairly, it just has a lot of consequences on guard behaviour that may not have all been intentional. I certainly wouldn’t say it’s an exploit, but stuff like that can sometimes be hard to predict and could have been influenced by a lot of different factors that aren’t mentioned.

I didn’t mean “exploit” like it was a bug or glitch, but a way to manipulate (in this case) guards. Like causing a panic could be considered an “exploit” to trespass without becoming compromised. If there’s a better, easier/quicker word to use then… I’m all ears. IMO, It’s just easier to say “exploit”.

When I think of exploits I think of abusing the game systems to an unintentional degree (cover aims, mudshots). The guards are doing what they are meant to be doing in a triple shot panic, so I don;t really see it as an exploit, more of a mechanic than anything. That said, I do think the bug you experienced was definitely attached to the disguise bag more than the weapon as that can serve as a spot where people can sometimes “think” 47 is. It would make a lot more sense if you shot at the guard in the exterminator disguise then changed out with the guard going to the disguise bag, but that doesn’t sound like what happened. If I’m thinking of the right guard (the one with Janus’ diary), it might be something specific to him as he has his own set of problems like not spawning in at all on the main mission from the garbage man start.

The image coloring is off because the HDR in this game is funky

Not only German, though.
I suppose, this is in every loc. Cause Russian loc has the same problem.
