Platform: PC

Location: All maps, happens wherever there are mirrors

Description: Game stutters every time you look at a mirror. Seems to have started with the ray-tracing update back in 2022 and still occurs three years later. Only apparent in-game workaround is to disable Mirror Reflections entirely.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Start the game
  2. Make sure Mirror Reflections are enabled in graphics settings.
  3. Go to any location with a mirror
  4. Game will stutter a single time upon looking at a mirror.
  5. Move camera until mirror is completely out of view, then turn camera back to look at mirror again. Game will stutter again and repeat every time this is done.
  6. Set Mirror Reflections to Off in settings; Stutters are now gone.

Frequency: Always happens with all mirrors.

Side-note: I’m aware that this issue is three years old at this point so in all likelihood it would’ve been fixed by now if it was ever going to be. But I still felt the need to create an account in order to bring some attention to it once more.

The Devi’s Own is experiencing a visual glitch right now where it’s TOO silver:

how it should look is a gold waistcoat, if anything a pinkish gold tho that’s subjective. it might be a LITTLE silver but this is clearly a bug:

Playing a Sapienza mission that is not marked as an alerted area will still load in the Master Mode changes to the map.

The Devil’s Owns’waistcoat is also broken (It’s meant to be golden, not silver/ white).

I experienced a bug earlier today where the trip wire lasers on the radio tower in berlin could reappear after destroying them by shooting them after (re-)loading saves, but I’m not exactly sure what causes it

So I just reloaded my saves from earlier and the lasers always reappear after being shot whenever I ADS with a pistol or sniper rifle, and I tried it again by just starting the mission like normal and making a new save, there the lasers would always reappear whenever I retrieved the sniper from the briefcase. I assume it would also happen with anything you can retrieve from a briefcase?

if you own the DLC pack you can still access it, you just have to scroll all the way to the right in the ETA menu

The lasers should always be visible, unless you have shot the device, in which case the laser will disappear for a few seconds.

i forgot to mention this happens after shooting/destroying them, in which case they shouldnt reappear

During the banker elusive target arcade, the casino chips are incorrectly displayed as an optional objective


The undying elusive target arcade’s name is still incorrectly spelled, it should be “The Ouroboros”, in game its currently misspelled as “The Oroboros”
IOI does accept the correct spelling of “Ouroboros”, it can be seen on some suppressors like i mentioned here: Season of the High Stakes - Roadmap (Summer 2025) - #47 by Vytosan


Sarajevo six targets have incorrect names:
The first two S6 targets’ names are wrong, but in their descriptions they are correct.
Scott M Sarno should be called just Scott Sarno
Garry Lunn should be called Gary Lunn (with one R)

Also the last target, Taheiji Koyama is consistently misspelled as Taheji. Luckily during his briefing video his name is always spelled correctly though, because that wouldn’t be easily fixable.
It is misspelled during the briefing’s subtitles however (probably in all languages) and also everywhere else.

okay scotts name might actually be scott m sarno according to this image on the wiki posted years before s6 came to h3,

this is the only place i can find this image. couldnt find it on the wayback machine or anything but i dont see why it wouldnt be real
but in 2016 ingame he was never referred to as scott m sarno, he was called just scott sarno everywhere so I think his name should be changed back to just “Scott Sarno” like in 2016


In Freelancer, the Goldballer still uses the incorrect “Tanballer” model


The default Ashen Suit without gloves is in some players’ inventories when it shouldn’t be


This isn’t really a bug moreso an inconsistency, but some H3 target challenges are called just Eliminate… instead of the targets’ codename


The DAK X2 Covert turned into the DAK X2 Covert Special outside of freelancer after the freelancer update


the codename 47 suit’s model is incorrect and not very good looking, it actually be like this mod: Codename 47 Head Fix at Hitman 3 Nexus - Mods and community


47’s tie clipping is still all messed up


The Protected Reservoir in whittleton creek still has a typo (Resevoir)


Hokkaido’s garden map is still broken



Kronstadt engineer disguise’s glasses still clip through 47’s face



Some of The Classics challenges have inconsistencies and The Icon is missing a sniper assassin challenge (although this may be intentional)


The Sensation ET mission is missing props it had in 2016


The PS5 saving bug is still a thing


This is less of a bug, but the tar pit in Colorado should be called the slurry pit, that’s what everyone knows it as, and it’s what everyone in the game refers to it as


final thing that’s not really a bug either, but everyone on steam who bought the 7ds before the 7ds collection DLC didn’t get the collection DLC, so you will forever have a DLC missing


also less of a bug but this should really be changed,
challenge packs should have their own section in the career → challenges tab, because as they are right now, they clutter up the H3 locations challenges


there should be a new tab called just “Challenge Packs” where the red circle is in my opinion

also since ambrose island was added to the H2 tab here, could freeform training and the final test be moved back to H1, or just get their own tab called tutorials or “ICA Training Missions” or something?


Would make sense kinda, because these missions are included in WOA Part One right?
The reason they originally put them in the H3 tab is because people who only owned H3 would have them too, but now everyone either owns the whole trilogy (except maybe haven island and new york but whatever) or just part one, so it would make sense to put the training missions back in the H1 tab


This isnt a bug either but Le Chiffre uses the same codename as Claus Hugo Strandberg (The Banker), maybe Le Chiffre’s codename could be changed to “The Shadow Banker” or something


one final thing I would like to see changed before support ends, escalations should have their own tab here where the red circle is


would fill out the game modes tab nicely, and give us easy access to just view all escalations on their own

btw, the escalations part of the Live menu doesn’t really work, it only lists like 7 escalations (might be intentional tho who knows)


Also, because ioi thought the undying would never come back, meaning the florida fit with gloves could never be unlocked, they made a new challenge for it (Been There, Done That)
The challenge’s unlock should be changed imo, since now we can complete the Elusive Target - Miami challenge again because the undying came back


ok imo they should change the loading screen for everything that isnt freelancer back to the old one it fits the game better

Location: All levels (crashes occur during mission loads)

Description:
The game intermittently crashes (less than 10% of the time) when loading a level. Debugging several crash dumps with WinDbg consistently points to a fault in the Wwise profiling function AK::MemoryMgr::StopProfileThreadUsage. Wwise profiling is apparently enabled in the latest build of Hitman3.exe which is ONLY USED FOR DEBUGGING can cause instability (like my crashes) because it does thread-unsafe memory operations. Disabling wwise profiling in the next production build I think it will fix a lot of players’ intermittent crashes. Thanks :slight_smile:

Steps to reproduce:
Unfortunately there are no consistent steps to reproduce, as the issue is caused by a thread race condition. Sometimes I can play for hours with no crashes, sometimes it’s twice in a row. Always this same StopProfileThreadUsage function is the location of the crash though.

Frequency:
Happens intermittently — approximately 1 in 10 level loads.

It’s crashing when doing thread operations for Wwise profiling, which should only be enabled in debug builds!

Description:
The Plague Doctor has black colored boots (Apparently the same ones as the Superfan outfit) They are supposed to be brown like the bottom part of this image. I made a forum post about this, and in absence of any official reply regarding this, I will consider it a bug.

Steps to reproduce:
When you equip the suit, it will always have the wrong colored boots.

Frequency:
Always.

The unlockable version of it is like that to differentiate the two outfits.

It had brown boots initially, only in a later patch did this change happen, so unless ioi confirms this as an intentional change, I will consider it a bug.

Even if it was intentional, it doesn’t really help differentiate them, since you can’t see the boots in suit selection, both have the same name in-game (At least on Epic Games version) and the boots are mostly covered up by the robes, so most players wouldn’t notice the difference during gameplay anyway.
