There’s a HITMAN thread on a non-video-gaming forum that I post on where someone is having problems with downloading the game update on a PS5 copy of HITMAN 3. I’d like to reply and help them, but not being a console player myself I don’t know how to fix the issue - does anyone have any ideas?
What I would suggest is to pause/stop the download, and disconnect his PS5 from the internet before reconnecting, but that is a bit obvious so he may have already tried it.
If that doesn’t do anything he should reset his router and the update should fail, allowing him another chance. This is probably the safer option.
