Fair point, i can’t really say anything there can i.
You don’t have to read everything but at least check the first few replies which usually have the right answer.
Also, 21 days after the last post, OP likely lost interest in this and it did not need to be bumped.

This has happened to me before and TBH, Blame the site “Suggested Topics”. Why is it recommending topics that the mod staff don’t want bumped!?
The point of that section is to direct you to other maybe interesting topics of that category. You still have to apply the basics before engaging there as they might be also interesting solely to be read.
