The Great Big Localisation Revamp by Dribbleondo-Van-Pelt

A mod that makes a massive sweep of localisation changes for the game. Contains improved descriptions for weapons, suits and items alike, and far less generic (and obviously placeholder) wording!

This basically exists because I got annoyed with the inconsistent quality of the descriptions in the game. Not every weapon or item description has been changed, usually because it doesn’t need to be, but also because some are hard little buggers to pin down and change (the ICA 19 Silverballer for example, while having several localisation strings, none actually change the in-game text).

Some items names have also been changed to more fitting names; Arctic Parka instead of Snow Festival Suit. for example.

Are there any bugs?
I’ve tried to keep mis-spellings and incorrect strings being changed to a minimum, but if you do find any, do let me know!

What Languages are supported?
English only at the moment.

EDIT: Now up to 1.1.0. Added a less ambiguously worded “Katana Kill” Prestige Objective description, as well as custom descriptions for the CEFTs in Freelancer, added MANY more descriptions for weapons and items introduced into Hitman (2016) and Hitman 2, as well as fixes for the ICA Combat Axe and ICA19 Silverballer descriptions.

NOTE: The ICA 19, Silverballer, and Chrome all share the same description internally – Hopefully I can fix this soon.

In this mod you can play in ETA in any time, but maps have some changes from escalations, custom or light changes.
Mission Failure
If you fail the mission, you need just restart the mission.
Know issue
When you complete the Arcade mission, game go to Game Modes page.

Updated with new feature.
I didn’t put the full feature list last time so I’ll do it now.

Features:
Levelup Anytime随时升级:
You can advance your prestige level when the guns are not fully collected, but if you already collect them all you can’t level up sorry. Get rid of one of them in mission lmao.
武器未收集齐时可以升级声望等级，但如果你已经收集齐了所有则不能升级，所以先去任务里丢一把吧。

Marked Leader首领标记:
When in a showdown level, only the real target is marked in instinct.
首领战时，仅有真正的目标会被标记为紫色。

Easy Merces炒股必赢:
You earn free 100,000 merces everytime you check the stocks. Reach mastery 16 first if you don’t know what it is. Get your free initial merces in the infirmary if you’re completely broke.
炒股一次给100000，不知道炒股是什么请推精通解锁金库。要是已经破产的话可以去医务室领免费的启动金。

Persistent Items道具不重置:
If you fail or abort the current campaign or switch to hardcore mode, you can still keep your freelancer items. However, leaving them in missions or advancing prestige levels still cause intended item removal.
战役失败或放弃时，以及切换硬核模式时，自由职业者道具不被清空。死亡时携带的道具以及消耗掉的道具仍会消失。升级声望等级时武器也会消失。

Saved Progression进度不重置:
Your campaign progression won’t be reset if you failed. The only way to reset is to manually abort or complete.
战役失败时，战役进度不重置。只有手动放弃才能重置。

Single Territory单地点:
For each campaign, you only need to clear one single territory, which is the final showdown.
每个战役仅需要前往一个地点，也就是仅有首领关卡。

Full Territories满地点:
For each campaign, you need to clear 19 territories, which are all available maps for Freelancer.
每个战役需要前往所有19个地点。

Zero Alerted Territories无警戒:
No territories are alerted when a campaign starts.
所有地点开局都不会警戒。

Regular Alerted Territories一般警戒:
The number of alerted territories in hardcore mode has been reduced to the same level as regular mode.
硬核模式的警戒地点数量将调整到一般模式的水平。

Full Alerted Territories全警戒:
All territories are alerted when a campaign starts.
所有地点开局都会警戒。

Never Alert Territories不警戒:
Failing an unalerted territory won’t alert any other territories.

Spawn as many merces safes as possible.

Spawn as many supply crates as possible.

There’ll only be one target in the territory takedown missions.

Definitely a must-have!

If it weren’t thanks to your mod, Freelancer mode would be barely bearable as it is way too much restrictive and punitive at the moment in my opinion.

@Count.Rushmore Yes’n. I plan to do all Locations with the exception of Hawkes Bay & Romania, aswell as the 2016 Ones as the 2016 Files are quite frankly a complete mess. Also NPC Models work different there as Heads aren’t TEMP Files, but PRIMS.

Accent Overhaul 1.5.1 - Scripted Japanese Dialogue

Dreant has contributed to the mod by going through the Japanese dialogue in Hokkaido and selecting ones they thought should realistically be Japanese (aka ones spoken by Japanese NPCs to each other), with my guidance of course
I then made sure those scripted Japanese people speak in Japanese for their AI, and not English in a Chinese (or Khandayang) accent

While I was digging around I increased the voice diversity of Anglo civilians in S1 maps; they now use all 10-11 Anglo civilian voices in the game, and not just the 4 that were available when Season One was made

Changelog (tl;dr):

• Hokkaido: Japanese language dialogue added where considered more appropriate than English (Selection/compilation by Dreant, conversion by @2kpr)
• Hokkaido: More NPCs given Japanese language voicesets, Master mode guards US voices removed
• Season One: US/UK voice civilians now have 10-11 voices each instead of 4

Dartmoor REi is finished with exception of some possible minor tweaks. However as I have a History of my Mods breaking pretty soon after Release, be it my own fault or a Game Update, I don’t want to release anything yet. Instead I will at the very least still do a REi Mod of either Dubai, Chongqing or Ambrose Island, before I release something. (See Poll below)

Berlin?

(Berlin is a bit too big for a 2 Location Release as of yet. Also it’s in my opnion the Map with the least amount Clones in Comparison aswell as some of the best NPC Modelsi n the Game of atleast H3)

Still, here are Two More New Models. A Fourth Mansion Guard and the last addition to the Bodyguard Team.

The Male Civillians are done. I went a bit overboard, so I even ended up with Two Unused Models, which I’m gonna leave in the Game, fully functional of course, in case someone’s planning to make a Bonus Mission in Chongqing or just wants to see them.
