As you point out with the wetsuit, this really shouldn´t be a reason for such a change.
If anything, I would rather welcome the ability to unlock the basic versions of the location-specific suits through mastery, so that one could choose whichever version they prefer. Not to mention it would be great to have suits like the basic hatless Colorado one or the Haven tropical islander available across the whole trilogy.
@Clemens_IOI Any particular reason for the change to the Summer Sightseeing Suit? And any chance of getting the gloveless version back as well (and potentially also the ability to unlock the basic versions of default suits from all locations, as I mention above)? Pretty please?
Server maintenance is incoming for several Hitman games on October 12. We’re updating our back-end infrastructure across all platforms and need time to make that happen
It might be a proactive response to the server outages over the weekend. I think that the total number of reports at https://hitmanstat.us/ hit nearly 600 on 7 Oct. From a personal perspective I had regular disconnects on Xbox over the entire weekend. Maybe they’ve identified an issue that they want to avoid in future?
My fault. The Hitman’s servers were officially in maintenance for usual backend work, but my status worker crashed a few days before. Website frontend still displayed a 6 days old outdated status (nobody seems to have noticed it, even me )… this is the first time this has happened. So during the whole maintenance period, the community reported connectivity issues. In normal circumstances, the reporting feature is disabled automatically when a maintenance occurs.
I have set up a more exhaustive monitoring of this worker to avoid that.
Nothing seems to have changed for the game and the average players.
Obviously the game is still in 3.70.0
Since I send recently a bug report I can check the server version and tell you that it is still 8.7.0 same as last week.
Now it seems to have broken the HCCE mod recently posted, but only for some. I presume we will have more knowledge about that in the following hours or days.
