This is an effect that makes the edges of all objects in the game look artificially sharpened. If you have an nVidia card, you can use filters in the game overlay to artificially create such an effect by increasing the ‘sharpen’ level.

I artificially recreated this effect in Photoshop on one image to better illustrate what I mean. This effect wasn’t present in the game before, but now it really stands out to me and is distracting. I’d like to turn it off, but none of the graphic settings modify it. It feels as if the game has this effect built-in.

Hi, If you’re referring to the deletion of the dinput8.dll, I don’t have it in the game folder. I have completely deleted the folders with the old installation and reinstalled the game

Due to server issues, I lost the reward for playing the elusive target.

I’ve found a solution for this annoying “Sharpen” effect. It wasnt before, but one day I’ve noticed that not only Hitman got this problem, but also STALKER 2. t’s forced by nVidia drivers and can’t be turned off in NVIDIA Control Panel → Manage 3D Settings → Global Settings → Image Sharpening (or Image upscaling), then tone it from 50% to 0% and screen went to normal.
I’ve bought the Hitman Signature Edition for the Nintendo Switch but none of the Nintendo DLC is visible or obtainable in the shop. What can I do to get access to for example the Dino Duck?
All of the Nintendo Switch 2 items were pre-order bonuses the 4 Mario items being for any purchase but the 2 Luigi items being retail exclusive

Description : HITMAN3.exe and Launcher.exe instant exit with exitcode 0
After the xbox full screen stuff EpicGames launcher will show “cloud syncing” then launching and then running. And then it will circle back to cloud syncing. I tried everything, reinstalling EpicGames, HITMAN3 WOA, deleting cache files, DDU GPU driver and reinstalling it. The only thing that helped was resetting windows completely with every data. I don’t have that issue with other EpicGames games. I’m a software engineer so I tried using WinDBG to find out why and where it is crashing and it seems like Launcher.exe opens engine.exe which then results in NtTerminateProcess(-1, STATUS_SUCCESS) which indicates a clean and wanted exit by the game engine. I would suspec the Xbox FullScreen hook into launch experience with its deep Windows integration messes with the Window manager or so causing some check in the Glacier game engine to fail and it decides this is not an environment where I can or want to open a Window. Not error reports no dumps with Windows built in debug dump support, nothing.

Select XBox Fullscreen at the top right -which redirects you to the settings app where it adds a “FullScreen” settings menu to the Gaming Section. Once this appeared HITMAN is basically broken. If not then select xbox as app and start on startup and reboot.

Issue: Game refuses to connect to server
Details: Ever since yesterday my game refuses to connect to the online server. Each and every time I try it keeps reading the message “Unable to connect to the HITMAN service. Failed to fetch configuration from the HITMAN server.” It only happens with my account specifically as I tried on a different account and that works just fine. It started happening a few hours after the new ET released, specifically it’s been happening since I claimed the current Twitch Drop. I have already submitted a support ticket and performed all the troubleshooting steps given to me (uninstalling/reinstalling, clearing console cache, unlinking and relinking IOI account, restarting router, checked for updates) but nothing works and I haven’t received anything else of help from it. As it stands, I simply cannot play the game online on my account whatsoever. I suspect there’s something wrong somewhere in my game data, possibly related to the Twitch Drop.
Frequency: Always, cannot get past the title screen without going offline.
Honestly, I’m not sure what else to do or how much longer am I going to have to wait because I just bought the Patient Zero Requiem pack and now I can’t even play it. I need some kind of solution ASAP.

Issue: Game doesn’t connect to the HITMAN server
Details: The problem is the same as mentioned above: for about a month I’ve been unable to access online mode in Hitman WOA. I keep getting the same error — “Cannot fetch profile information from HITMAN server, contact support.” It happened suddenly, not long after the cross‑platform progression update was released. I can’t confirm whether it’s related, since I only play on Xbox and don’t use that feature. However, I tried enabling it just to check if it helps, but I obviously couldn’t complete the process because I don’t own Hitman WOA on any other platform.
Since this started, I’ve tried everything I could find online. My console is fully updated, and the game is up to date as well. I’ve reinstalled it twice, deleted save data, unlinked and relinked my Xbox account from my IOI account, and experimented with various network settings — ports, UPnP, NAT, and more. I’ve also tried connecting through both a mobile hotspot and a wired connection, but nothing has helped.
I contacted support, went through all their suggested steps, and they eventually forwarded the issue to the dev team. It’s at least a bit of a relief to know I’m not the only one experiencing this right now, so hopefully that increases the chances of them finally fixing it. All of this is just another reminder that this “always‑online” requirement should really be left in the past.

Description: After getting to the starting page and clicking “[Enter] to Start”, the game will crash within three seconds. This persists regardless of driver updates or attempts to delete/reinstall the game from scratch.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Launch HITMAN via Steam
- Let the startup sequence run.
- Start the “Enter” sequence, and the game will immediately crash
