F-CK YEAH GUYS!! F.-.C.K YEAH!! ![]()

That’s great to hear that IOI will keep taking care of his baby, even after a year of content that divided the fans for legitimate reasons.
IOI changing their minds and willing to make new content, levels and storylines is a great and wise idea. But that shouldn’t be a surprise as we were used to have that kind of content in HITMAN 2.
People will tell “IOI promised nothing but what they delivered” which is true. But since it’s the latest (and final) installment of this trilogy people expected it to be the best of them all, with lots of contents and features to surpass them all.
→ About the “Elusive Target Arcade” mode:
This new “Elusive Target Arcade” mode sounds promising.
However we should treat those informations lightly as we don’t really know yet how it will be in the end.
People have been requesting replayable Elusives since YEARS.
But that “arcade” word can mean lots of different things…
-
Will it be a standard mode, like Special Assignments where you can replay Elusives as you wish or something else?
-
Will there be ALL Elusive targets or just a selected sample?
-
Can we replay the Elusives as we wish or will it be a special mode with challenges and target rotations?
-
Will we be able to get a ranking/score in the end?
-
Will we be able to save/load during those missions?
So much questions unanswered, that’s why i think we should all keep our hype low to avoid a huge disappointment. Wait & See…
→ About the Mansion level:
This mansion level shown in the video sounds promising. As others i’ve seen some details that suggest it could be some sort of hideout for 47, which is another feature so much requested by fans since years. And that would be wonderful to have!
Imagine something like the Tomb Raider mansion where you can rest, train and explore independently of the other levels, some place especially dedicated to 47 where he can do his own stuff and check files without any exterior influence…
Also, why not add a feature like in Dartmoor Benchmark Mode where you can spawn enemies randomly in the level for training and skill purposes, as the image of the amazing Hitman: Contracts hideout level.
Speaking about timeline-wise, i think that it shouldn’t be a level marked in the past or future but remain something intemporal, like something serving as a training/tutorial level, not linked to any date/time, level or storyline. Just a hideout with different features and a place where 47 (and eventually Diana) will come to rest and prepare for any mission ![]()
Looking forward to new informations about this level of course, as it was highly requested by fans a long time ago and almost everybody is waiting to see how it will be made ![]()
→ About HITMAN VR coming to PC:
This is such a fantastic feature that totally have its place in HITMAN universe! Looking forward to try this amazing and different way of playing within the game!
Thank you for delivering this to the PC players. I’m sure there will be a lot of people willing to try it ![]()
→ About HITMAN 3 in general:
Giving new content is great but in my opinion it shouldn’t be requested that hard by fans but being a normal and logic approach from the devs, as they delivered so much things in the past with HITMAN and HITMAN 2.
It should be normal that at each sequel, things get bigger and better instead of being lowered. The devs have put such a high standard in their HITMAN trilogy that delivering something less better than the two previous games will be nothing but a huge disappointment. Look at what happened to the Remastered GTA Trilogy for example, a disaster that doesn’t even reach the level of games made more than a decade ago!
Sadly even if things are getting better, there is still a lot of work to do to make the ensemble better than the previous ones, as the HUGE backlog of HITMAN 2 remains and there is still a lot of fixes and tweaks to perfect this final installment of the HITMAN trilogy: map problems, texture problems, CONNECTION problems, …so much things to care about.
→ Most Important Suggestions for this final chapter (in my opinion):
Here is a list of things that should be done to make this final experience complete and achieved in my opinion:
- FULL OFFLINE MODE
:
Still a major issue on this singleplayer game. It’s been proven that making it online doesn’t stop the cheaters and hackers from doing what they want. At this point it only penalizes the customer who just wants a full offline experience and being to play the game fully as he wishes, without being forced to be constantly connected to the internet. Scoring, unlocks, and so much other things that should be enabled offline, with the possibility to connect if we want to of course.
- New Elusive Targets in missing levels:
Like Mumbai, New York and Haven Island, to make the whole thing consistent and complete. Or else, it’s like having a hole in your jeans that will remain forever no matter how great the rest will be, it will remain as an unfinished job (like the HITMAN 2 still cinematics) that will last for the years to come.
- Windows 7 compatibility:
Why asking such a request since this is outdated OS with security issues? It’s simple. Because the two previous games were compatible with that OS, and not keeping that consistence will put those players in a situation where they won’t be able to play that latest installment of the franchise.
Enabling that compatibility at least for an offline mode would be the minimal and so those people will be able to buy and play the game.
- Overall consistency and quality for all levels:
Mastery, bloom/lightning, textures and quality of maps, … so much things that differ from one level to another (even 47’s face!) that is ruining the ensemble. Adjusting all of those things for the whole pack will make the general view consistent and avoid huge difference of quality between legacy and new levels ![]()
- MOST BUGS FIXED (BACKLOGS!):
Probably the most important thing to care about!
Since HITMAN (2016) there is a huge list of bugs and glitches constantly growing and it’s remaining on HITMAN 3. There is almost nothing to say about the story, visuals and map design (which is outstanding work) but still, gameplay-wise it breaks lots of things and all those issues should be addressed in priority to creating more content which could bring more issues in the end.
→ Conclusion:
This year 2 is the opportunity for the studio to do what is right by polishing the whole content and bringing the best and final gaming experience of the trilogy.
That latest episode is the last and will remain the one where all players will come and play for the upcoming years. Giving something less better than the two previous games won’t make any sense and will penalize all the gaming base if things aren’t done right.
Let’s remember for example how they removed a simple and harmless feature like “Shoulder Swap” which could’ve been a disaster if not brought back. And i’m not counting the other elements removed like “Electric OP Phone” for some questionable reasons.
I think that it shouldn’t be about removing content and having less but more about improving the existing content and adding another layer of greatness after it.
They have the talent, money and possibility to make things done like needed. It’s all on their hands now and it will determine the future of the franchise, but also of their studio who is actually making the new Bond videogame.
Let’s make this third and last episode the best of them all so players will have the best experience possible to play with for the years to come, awaiting the next HITMAN game that will come in an unknown future.
I’m not here to be negative or spit on developers who have shown what they are capable of: bringing something outstanding and with no competition elsewhere.
I’m just a huge and dedicated fan of the franchise who is caring about one of my favourite franchises and is worried of it not being treated with the quality it deserves, compared to the games released decades ago with more content and quality with less resources (human and financial).
HITMAN 3 deserves much better than a pack of escalations and reskins, no matter the quality of the content. Much more. And they are capable of bringing it as shown in this “Year 2” video.
I wish nothing but the best for HITMAN 3. And i hope that Hakan and his talented team will be able to surpass the different challenges and pressures they have to deliver something greater and deserved after all those years of work: the third and ultimate HITMAN gaming experience for the years to come.
Thanks for reading me and for listening to the community that have been supporting you for years, at good and bad times. Cheers ![]()
