Disruptor pack: Arti has answered questions about it before but this time it definitely sounds like they are re-releasing the dlc with work done to the mission to remove the likeness of the guy:

This definitely brings joy to my heart. If this is indeed true, I wonder If they’ll replace McGregor with another Irish celebrity, to mantain the spirit of the pack, or if he will become just a generic NPC.

I say keep the Disruptor altogether and just get another fighter to do the voice, change the appearance a little, get rid of that fucking ending cutscene at GAMA, and viola.

Replace him with another of Eminem’s personalities, then have Slim Shady wake up at GAMA.

You know what, considering the all-in-his-mind nature of the Shady ET, the fact that he also already woke up at the end, and the fact that the entire thing happening while being worked on by the machine at GAMA would help resolve that particular conundrum, whether it be the Shady personality waking up in GAMA to instigate the one we already got, or Eminem himself waking up in GAMA because Shady is now dead and that was how 47 was getting into his mind in the first place, you just might have something there.

IMHO, they’ll keep the original pack, but replace him with likeness of unique, non-celebrity NPC and he will probably voiced one of the recurring VA’s - potentially Ash Rizi, who’s actually from Northern Ireland.

I’m expecting another celebrity that fits the theme. A standard unique character would be a much harder sell for the DLC without a celebrity attached, plus it wouldn’t have the same appeal to bring in new players when they make it free-to-play - which is the overall goal of the CelebrET trend.

Well, what if they make it free? I feel like if they would try to sell it again, they would be called out for previously trying to profit off a Connor, knowing what he did. Like, you’ve messed up big time and are trying to profit of this pack again? Even if it is not tied to Connor anymore, his “ghost” will be still somewhat present.
Because of that, I think they should give it away for free, and maybe tie the items to Arcade Escalation?

This raises the question if the pack will remain a DLC or they will just add it to the game for free? If they decide to replace him with a non-celebrity I see this as real posibility

If they do replace him with another celebrity, I wonder if that is one of the upcoming ones that got teased earlier in the year. Although I hope it isn’t.

That ending is an insult. No target gets to be shown surviving 47’s assassination attempt on them except: The Undying, because that’s his gimmick, he’s a special case, and it could be argued 47 wasn’t trying to be as thorough as he could have been the first time to try and see if the story was true and Mark Faba could really just comeback from an average hit; and Slim Shady, who is just a psychological figure in Eminem’s head and isn’t truly being killed at all.

The Disruptor surviving can only be justified with the headcanon scenario I put out a couple of years ago that he dreamed the whole thing and 47 never actually tried to kill him at all. Since there’s no sense in IOI trying to throw that in along with the expense of remaking the ET to begin with, we can assume that never becomes canon, and as such, that ending cannot be included if one of 47’s three defining traits is to be observed and respected.

I don’t care how funny that scene is (it’s not), if The Disruptor is ever remade, get it the hell out of there.

Minnow thinks Arti meant the initial work of making the mission and not ongoing work. I see it that way now too. Super sorry for getting your hopes up everyone.
