IIRC you can disable that specific DLC so that they no longer spawn in vendor inventories?
@Combatglue
Not sure what happened after the new update, but this suit seems a little off ![]()
And i really like the Splitter suit, but it just doesnt feel like it belongs in Tactical you know.
Anyway, I loved the ET! Feels like an entirely new mission!
I would like to have this suit, but to buy a subscription for earning it, no thank you.
I’m not watching streams/channels that reguarly to buy a subscription to view them if I can view them for free. If I can’t I won’t watch them at all and leave the channel straightaway.
I know there are lots of people who will do it, I just wonder how many in here on the forum
Noooo is the flamingo suit bugged?? Specific, or all platforms? ![]()
As the resident bird of the forums, this displeases me greatly.
The coin lights up in Instinct and it seems to be locked behind some kind of timer/clock. Maybe it opens on the 24th/25th ![]()
THAT would be cool. ![]()
Also loving we get our ICA19s from the Trinity Pack for use in Freelance. The Black Trinity isn’t just for display on an interactive couch anymore!
When you look at the item description though, it still says its an H2 ET coin (its original reason to be created, but was left unused).
They didn’t update it for whatever reason.
Maybe they should finally give us the Unlock for that + the Solstice suit, which was the plan right? The Solstice + Oustanding Service coin + Briefcase with H2 locations were to be the black winter + performance coin + aluminium travel case equiv
Didn’t even notice this?
I’ll have to check it out! ![]()
Will be interesting to see what’s inside, that’s if it even opens? I would have thought it’s something that’s coming near Xmas because we had this with the Treasure chest in the Church were it flashed up on Instinct, but was hidden behind an unlock later in Mastery.
Huh. Very interesting!
I Knew IO couldn’t resist adding a secret in this update!
I don’t know about consoles but it is definitely broken on PC.
Here’s hoping they fix it in the next patch, seeing how it’s not exactly a subtle bug.
Hope so, because that motherfucker ain’t just bugged, it’s totally FUBAR. Tested it out in front of the Freelancer closet mirror last night, and I’ll just say, eerie!
Ok, I think I’m officially getting old, cranky, and confused by technology. I have barely figured out Twitch drops, and now I’m trying to figure this one out.
So if I want the Purple Streak Boxer Suit, I have to subscribe to a random streamer on Twitch that is not officially affiliated with IOI? And Twitch subscriptions cost money? Like, you can only subscribe to Twitch streamers by paying them actual currency? You don’t just “like and subscribe” like on YouTube?
I only ever use Twitch to get the Hitman Purple Streak Twitch Drops. I don’t even pay attention to who is streaming; I just click on a random one and let it play in a tab on mute until I get the Twitch Drop. But now I have to give Twitch my credit card information and pay money to one of these random streamers to get this suit?
Oh, and there’s a chance I subscribe to the wrong streamer at the wrong time and don’t get the suit? Like, what happens if I subscribe, but the streamer ends their live stream of Hitman while I’m trying to figure this out? So I could risk wasting my money on a Twitch subscription I don’t want if I’m not careful about whom I subscribe to and when? And then I have to find another streamer to waste money on to a subscription I will not ever use even once?
Am I understanding this right? Because this sounds like some absolute bullshit…
Both of these are correct, I say after having gone ahead and done it myself.
The fewer people who participate in the Twitch streamer sub thing the better. It will make IOI realize how unpopular it is and will be less likely to do such a thing again.
I mean, apart from all the negative attention it’s getting here in the forum.
I can see why they did it - to help some streamers get a little extra ka-ching. Maybe it’s just another demographic IOI is gunning for. This would be the new players that… actually use and watch gameplay on Twitch. Not sure why it makes any difference to pay someone to watch their videos while you can still watch for free. Maybe watch “premium content”? ![]()
If you believed what you said then you wouldn’t be enabling IO’s actions.
For the twitch drop, does the free Amazon Prime subscription count as a bought subscription? Because I just started a stream, gave the guy a sub and in mym inventory I can only see progress for the 1-hour pistol, but nothing about the suit
Nope.
