Honestly I don’t believe it to be the case. If anything there was an obvious deal between IOI and Twitch leading to the benefit of both. After all when it’s about something it’s about money.
If IOI wanted to truly support the streaming community they should do this out of their pockets or promote them in some way instead of basically abusing completionists addictions which honestly sickens me.
Seriously what is it with IOI obsession over short term solutions leading to lasting consequences (AKA trust issues from community)?
If they try to do the same with Project 007 (including always online and time limited and missable events with unlocks) I won’t get it because I don’t want to be a part of such toxic relationship.

True, the infamous (but now patched and working, thankfully) Haven swimwear clipping looked tame in comparison and that outfit was at least usable. The Flamingo might as well have been removed from the game.
IOI leadership:
I think I’m one of the few that actual don’t mind the Twicth Sub Drop per se.
I mind that it’s the only thing they are willing to do and care about.

Yes I would. I literally just did. I don’t like it, I’m not happy that I had to do it, but I’m not going to take the chance that there’s content I won’t get after having missed out on certain things by not getting the game until 2017 and missing out on stuff. After giving grief over that very thing all day yesterday in the McGregor assault thread, it’d be pretty damning if I didn’t.
If you’re confused as to why, I’ll explain. It works like this: aside from the health and safety of myself, my wife and my dog, my entertainment is my ABSOLUTE top priority in this world. I have principles, but if they come into conflict with my ability to sit and enjoy something, they become a secondary concern. My goal with this game, other than to have fun playing it, is to obtain every bit of content that can be obtained. If that means that I must pay more than is reasonable or engage in practices that I would not want to engage in otherwise, so be it. I wouldn’t even blink at that.
So yes, despite hating to contribute to such practices with everything that makes me who I am, I will (and did) suck it up and do it anyway, to avoid the possibility of missing out.

Does Hitman ever get streamed by Sydney Sweeney and Margot Robbie while they’re both naked and making out? That’s the only Twitch “premium content” that I would be interested in. I might pay for that one.
The funny thing is, I’m not necessarily a completionist when it comes to Hitman. Rather, purple is my favorite color to the point it’s a borderline obsession. Literally, the only reason I’m bothering with Twitch drops at all is because they’re purple, not because I need a complete collection of all items. If this Twitch Boxer Suit were any other color, I wouldn’t even be tempted.
I’m hoping somebody better than me will eventually release a mod substituting the regular Splitter Boxer Suit with this Purple Streak one, and then I’ll be happy.
I say this with all due respect: If a video game is your #4 top priority after your health, wife, and dog… please go touch grass.

It’s not exclusively a video game; it’s all entertainment of any sort. I have touched grass. It did nothing. It was grass before I touched it, it was grass as I touched it, it’ll be grass long after I’ve touched it, and while I was touching it, I could have been inside doing something I actually like. So what significance was that supposed to do for me? People tend to say things like that to me when they realize how important entertainment is to me, and they fail to realize that it is so important to me because I care nothing for the natural world. All the grass in the world could burn, and so long as I still have access to my entertainment, nothing has changed for me.

Again, all due respect, I’m not a doctor, but it feels like your obsession with these kinds of things (especially for Hitman) like the regimented HPP playstyle, the need for realism and logical “alibis” when going Silent Assassin, and now this scorched-earth completionist mindset, it just feels like something related to having some deep-rooted restrictive behaviours…

Not even other family? Friends? Money? Job? Exercise? Education? Getting enough sleep? Travel? Good food? Nice clothes? Learning a new skill?
There are a lot of things that should be prioritized over entertainment!

No they shouldn’t. I hate my family, aside from my wife and dog, and would perfectly content if I never heard from any of them again. I have no friends, nor do I want them, aside from online acquaintances such as here at the forum. Money is a means to an end that I only need to buy my necessities and pay for my entertainment. A job is only a means to an end to get the money - see above. Exercise is an inconvenience that I despise but engage in enough to keep my health steady enough so that I can live longer to continue enjoying entertainment. I’m educated in everything I need to know for my purposes, an additional education would just be as a means to an end to be better at performing a job - see above. I sleep because my body needs it, but I despise being unconscious, and if I could remain awake without limit I would. Can eat good food while watching my favorite shows, so that doesn’t even conflict with entertainment. Nice clothes are subjective, and I only need clothes for warmth and for when I venture outside my house, which I keep to a bare minimum. I learn new skills whenever I play a new game - real life skills I obtain when I have need of them.

Just noticed that the patch fixed a very minor thing that has triggered my OCD for the longest time.
On ETs, the challenges for eliminating the target had the description on the H1 ETs as “Assassinate The Codename”, while the H2 and H3 ETs had it as “Eliminate The Codename”. Now they all say “assassinate”.
They all match now.
