Wait, they donât make guns for Lego cowboys anymore?? Yet another childhood icon has fallenâŠ
Bro they donât even make Lego cowboys anymore so what makes you think they are making the guns? Lego donât make those sorts of genre fictions sets if they canât slap a media franchise logo over it.
Lego has killed itself by making they toys for kids into kidâs toys for adults then charging an arm and a leg (a humanâs, not a minifigâs) for them.
They do make the guns and stuff still but Lego themselves havenât made a cowboy set in a while however some of the cool people on bricklink have and itâs designer program lets all the winners of that like these 2 get to be real sets sold for abit
Lego has had a âno modern looking firearmsâ rule for a while now. Itâs a rule with a little room for interpretation but their guidance is to have nothing the children will recognize from conflicts or crime on the tv news.
It creates problems though when you have licensed 007 sets since he always has his trusty Walther pistol.
I made these with Hero Forge a long time ago as a tribute to the Hitman style that existed prior to World of Assassination trilogy. I was trying to get the dark look of Contracts and Codename 47.
Another masterpiece by @v1deost <3 ![]()
My absolute favorite detail was the water at the end!
I love the look of the water sooo much in game and you managed to make it look even better, and even more pretty and shiney!
Aww thanks so much, Blossom! ![]()
It means a lot that you thought the water was pretty!
In all honesty, it was a nightmare to animate and I donât like how it ended up lol, but it was a learning experience
After LeChiffre was announced last summer, I photoshopped some concept marketing for the other Craig-era Bond villains, similar to how they did LeChiffreâs. At the end, I have a brief shot of villain Dominic Greene in Mendoza, though I just never got around to making the full mockups.
In order of the Craig films, the ideas wouldâve been:
- Dominic Greene (Quantum of Solace): Viñedo Yates in Mendoza converted to a version of the Perla de las Dunas eco-hotel in Bolivia from the filmâs climax.
- Raoul Silva (Skyfall): though a night-time Thornbridge Manor swarming with Silva and his men wouldâve been perfect to reimagine the Skyfall estate attack from the end of the film, this was too similar to The Wrath Termination. Instead this wouldâve taken place in daytime Chongqing, mirroring Silvaâs abandoned Chinese island off the coast of Macau from the middle of the movie.
- Ernst Stavro Blofeld (Spectre): there was a lot of location choices for this one, but ultimately Sapienza/The Author wouldâve worked as a reimagining of the secret Spectre meeting in Rome, where Villa Carusoâs grand hall is converted to the meeting space.
- Lyutsifer Safin (No Time To Die): Like the filmâs bioweapon facility near Japan, Hokkaido would be converted to The Poison Garden from the film, and the hospital area would be the bioweapon facility.
- James Bond: finally, weâd take down Bond himself, who is âretiredâ in a reworked Haven Island (Tysonâs old villa) alongside killer Bond girls. This would be a nod to his stay in Jamaica, as well as the GoldenEye hideaway there.
This is bold, but what if the attack is on 47âs safehouse from freelancer? Could even tie into Byron Washington III finding men to kill the man that killed his daughters
Hadnât considered this, but yeah that might work too!
Bandage nose man my fav!! ![]()
Canât forget the perpetually broken nose !
Hope it will be healed when co-op comes out!
Dang, I always thought Stone used nose breathing strips. Took a closer look at his model and it is indeed a bandage lol. Dude got an ICA covered nose job that wonât heal or something??
I like to think he just keeps it cause he thinks it looks cool but everyone else at the ica secretly thinks itâs dumb
Maybe he just cannot bear the pain of pulling it off. It is okay to be sensible.
