I don’t know, I think JJ is alright. If I had to rank the SA maps I’d probably put it bang in the middle. I think it’s small size sortof hurts it. And I gotta to be honest, my biggest gripe with the map is how you start in such a crap position. I definetly think Basement Killing is easily the best mission of the 3 skyscraper levels.

Yeah, I know JJ isn´t at the top of SA maps, I just have a soft spot for it, mainly because of the setting (almost top of the then highest building(s) in the world, rainy night…). It´s kind of a second Tracking Hayamoto for me. Fun for absolute stealth as well as a shot´em up approach. Plus that stylish outro…

No argument there. Definitely the best of the 3 and my 2nd most favourite level in the game.

I don’t understand why The Motorcade Interception is looking to go to the next round. I saw that people were angry with The Graveyard Shift for needing two shots, but if you want to kill the Khan with one shot (without stopping his motorcade first), in a tiny window in a split second after minutes of tedious preparation, get ready for tons of frustration. I’ve been there. I expected a lot more from my encounter with the Khan.

Would’ve upvoted Jacuzzi Job but i’ve already wasted too many of my upvotes to its Graveyard brother. This time my upvote goes to my true favorite of this game.

2 shoots + an automatic cover blown for no reason once you break the glass even though there was no witness around :stuck_out_tongue:

That’s true, but there were other problems with Graveyard shift too(and tbh the shots weren’t really the biggest problem for me):
1.I don’t really like missions without a target in general(the only exception being Run for your life),because they are really boring.
2.The atmosphere isn’t very good compared to the other levels.
However,Motorcade Interception doesn’t have the 2 problems mentioned above and the main idea of the mission is prettty interesting(I am a big fan of sniping),so I would say it deserves to advance.

As much as I hate doing this I don’t want to drag it out longer than it needs to like the C47 thread (though it is a disgrace how Gunrunner’s Paradise, the absolute worst level in that game and a contender for series worst, managed to squeeze through while Plutonium died). We’ll get on to taking out Temple City and Tubeway Torpedo another time.

I couldn’t bring myself to subtract those JJ points for the sake of the game. Those of you who did so intentionally with a clean conscience: May a naked Charlie Sidjan visit you in your dreams and go boom boom with you for eternity :joy:

lmao what? Gunrunner’s Paradise is a fine level and if Codename 47 would have one “bad” level it would be the Jungle God but its so short that i dont mind it.

I think the game ended since there are only 12 missions left as it says in the OP :stuck_out_tongue:
See y’all in the Heat Contracts thread!

I don’t know, I just never really liked the need to wait for Ivan for five decades after killing the bikers and the whole train gimmick never made sense to me. The mission to me is just:

  • See where the dogs are
  • Reroute the train
  • Kill the bikers
  • Hide the bodies
  • Wait
  • Win

There really isn’t any thinking. Perhaps I’m missing something because I’m mostly using a speedrun strat just to get past the level as soon as possible.

It is the only level I really dislike in the game. Training can be done in a few minutes and it’s supposed to be a tutorial so it is forgiven. Besides, Ort-Meyer is interesting to listen to sometimes. Find the U’wa Tribe can have a soothing effect as I really like running around. Jungle God can literally be finished in 40 seconds so I don’t even treat it as a level. The Setup is fun to explore and Meet Your Brother can be a fun shootout, plus Ort-Meyer is yet again interesting to listen to (though he can be annoying after a while).

The rest are all really good in my opinion.

Maybe you should roleplay the level to discover why it is good. This is what I wrote in the C47 heat.
