I actually quite like Berlin so Iā€™ll leave it alone. I canā€™t stay angry about Chongqing when remembering that eerie beginning at the gas station, soaked in atmosphere.

Would have tried to save Nightcall because itā€™s got a great and intimate vibe going on that makes it stand out, but that Zodiac is just parked too far away.

Following MrOchoa to get rid of an overrated mission. I like the drunk lady but everything else feels wooden and tedious.

to be fair, i reckon the majority of the appeal for a new life and another life is the incongruity of having a bald, genetically engineered, super assassin stalking around a 50ā€™s esque american (wet) dream suburb.

for me, i like how what they present on the surface gets continually undermined the deeper you go. then thereā€™s the way it makes certain banal elements horrific (kidā€™s entertainer, garbage trucks, hedge trimmers, etc.).

i can certainly understand finding the missions themselves fairly mediocre though.

To me, ANLā€™s brilliance lies in the amount of different approaches it offers. The necklace objective forces you to take out the wife non-lethally (or accidentally) for SA making it a fresh and unique challenge every time.

I donā€™t much care for the suburb element. In fact Iā€™d prefer if it wasnā€™t like that.

fair enough, though i donā€™t think it would be the same if it wasnā€™t in that setting. complete supposition on my part, but i suspect they come up with the setting first when designing levels. could be way off though. where would you set it?

i think itā€™s a very potent level, aesthetically. it has a lynch/blue velvet quality to it, plus it fits snugly into bmā€™s through theme of sticking it to the american dream.

I would have liked to see A new life advance,but I donā€™t have enough energy for this,there are other missions I would rather protect and it is not a mission I am really fond of anyways.
So,it looks like weā€™re on the same side again @MrOchoa ā€¦for now and I hope I can count on you to help me with Temple City Ambush.:wink:
