Indeed(even though I actually like it more than the original).Others may not like it that much because some areas are closed,the hotel feels a bit more lifeless and the iconic lines of dialogue from the original are missing.However,I think that we should at least give the remake credit for improving the level gameplaywise.The objectives feel more balanced and the difficulty is a little bit higher when it comes to killing Fritz and acquiring the bomb.There are also more kill methods for Fritz and the SWAT team soundtrack playing in the background makes the bomb objective feel much more iconic than in the original.
Again,I can understand why others would like to see it eliminated,but for me it feels like both versions complement each other and I prefer to see them as a whole rather than two different missions.The original version offers a more elegant hotel atmosphere and the funny and iconic lines of dialogue while the remake offers more interesting gameplay,better visuals and a cooler exfiltration.
Maybe you could help me keep this version in the competition though?And maybe @Screaming_Meat as well once A new life is ultimately eliminated(sorry for that)?
