I hate how Diana reacts when you spot the Maelstrom…I’d recognize THOSE Eyes everywhere!!… Like…why? He’s just some Pirate Asshole with 0 personal connection to Diana, yet she reacts as if he killed her Parents or so, really bizarre.

now that you say that, the whole intricately designed level that environmentally represents each character’s inner-life, with its robust target interactions, point to make about the power of myths, and myriad glorious and imaginative ways to off targets is completely ruined for me.
The coolest Thing about Mumbai is the Train kill/exit, and Vanyas Trainyard is also a great looking location, the rest of the map, especially Rangans Tower is…meh. But thats just my opinion.

cool thing about the tower (for me) is the number of routes up and how nicely they swiss cheese. it’s my favourite vertical space in the series.
i like how it just encapsulates rangan to a t: flashy, half-empty (wazir calls him a ‘hollow man’ at one point), full of images of himself and pompous decorations and furnishes, has a film set telling apocryphal stories about himself, and it is all situated high above everyone else. that’s dawood, man.
that is such a great assessment of the tower, i also love that the lift shaft was such a good idea they had to bring it back for dubai.
cheers, man. all the fortresses in mumbai are like that in terms of environmental story telling. it’s ace.
Damn, i really enjoyed the missing elevator in Mumbai so much, what a great callback to Miami 
but my favorite empty elevator shaft has to be Dubai, its just gorgeous, Chef’s kiss
