Basement Killing isn’t even 21 points good let alone 221 points good.
Eh, by itself, no. But, I might give it that much when joined with its accompanying missions. That story was fascinating.

I would go so far and say it’s the best mission in the series. Are there limitations due it being 25 years old? Are there more modern and impressive levels? Yes. Yet it perfectly captures the fantasy of being an assassin, no other hotel level has ever come close since.
There is a reason why we as community as whole yearns after a great hotel level. For many of the original fans, the love for the series started here, it did for me.
I thought we all collectively yearned for an airport level?

I have never seen the appeal, true some do wish for one. But if there is a type of level that the forum is very critical about, it’s often the hotel level. We do hold hotel levels in high regard and they are all measured against Tradition of the Trade.
Neither have I, it would probably be really boring.
I just want a level in Australia, dammit!

So dull, Air ports sucks. They are often just a big hall with some long straight and broad hallways. Thrown in a handful of shops, restrooms and staff facilities. It just sounds like a dull place to play a game.
Ironically I feel like an airport level would be a very stretched out hotel level but with Border Force swarming the level.
Also hot take alert but Hokkaido is a hotel level.
True, but it’s not a hot take. A hot take would be calling Colorado a hotel level.
That isn’t a hot take, that is being wrong. Plain old sick and wrong.
However Colorado is the best Absolution level but that is in no way a hot take.
Yes just like saying Hokkaido isn’t a hotel level. It’s a hotel with medical facilities.
A hotel with malpractice characteristics.
