it ain’t even the best mission in h2… but it’s a close second. great outcome. 
been a lot of fun, everybody: all the dizzying highs and gut-wrenching lows. i think we’ve all grown a little - as a community, as people - and i think we learned a few things on the way, about ourselves and about life in general, but mainly that @Hichkas cannot be trusted in these sorts of competitions.

I spotted @MrOchoa tampering with the pyrotechnics diplay under the podium where “The Finish Line” will receive its award. There was a bewildered look in his eyes, muttering something about traditions that need to be respected. Probably getting worried over nothing though, he’s a good bloke.
I had my suspicions about the spoilered explanation, but thanks for the confirmation anyway because I really wasn’t sure!

This is the spreadsheet I’ve been working on throughout this finale.
Some factoids (all I could come up with for now):
- There were 380 voting turns in total, including 29 participants, with on average 13 votes per person.
- Beldingford Manor got the most upvotes of all levels in this finale, 50, and probably the entire championship. Traditions of the Trade used to hold this record with 46.
- Chasing a Ghost was dead for a total of 41 turns and died on its 3rd turn upon revival.
- World of Tomorrow had a streak of 11 turns near the end where someone upvoted or downvoted it. It could have been 22 turns in a row but Ingvar voted for the other 2 levels and broke the chain.
- The most amount of points a level had at once was Apex Predator with 28.

The Finish Line’s line being the line in the end.
Seeing Traditions of the Trade valiant struggle does hurt a bit though. You can really see all the hate pushing it down. Poor thing

Thanks for all the data @eydontactdumb, that is both useful and very entertaining. Thanks for everyone for participating and for all the backstabbing and betrayals and everyone insulting everyone else. Truly this is model forum behaviour.
I plan to make an “aftermath” thread in a few hours, once I get back from hanging out with some friends today. Going to copy paste ey’s factoids, and really just a nice sortof monument to all the insanity that happened over the last couple months.
I will do a target championship in the future but I would like to rest the championships for a little bit. Maybe once we hit August I’ll start that new championship up, just have a bit of breathing room.
