I’ve already talked about this before, but the creepiness feels tacked on for all levels except Beldingford and Asylum.
Meat King’s Party is so senseless to me. Many praise its atmosphere and what not but it feels so unnatural to look at these people partying in a slaughterhouse while surrounded by animal carcasses all while there’s a murderer chopping up a corpse upstairs. I know it’s a fetish party and all but it feels exaggerated.
Same goes for the rain. For Meat King and Asylum you spend most of your time inside so you barely register its existence and this goes for a lot of levels. Rendezvous, Deadly Cargo, Hong Kong, especially Traditions of the Trade could all do without the rain. On Beldingford it feels natural with 47 lurking throughout the wealthy estate in the middle of the night. The story behind the level, while particularly outlandish, is something that’s rarely seen in the media and is a lot more special than a simple ‘they are bad rich people’ like it is most of the time nowadays.
C47’s sneaking mechanics are rudimentary at best and it barely gives any opportunity for such endeavours. SA’s twitchy AI and snail movement speed makes it a chore to attempt any bigger challenge.

Sapienza is a fantastic level, but World of Tomorrow as a mission is flawed mostly because of the virus.

Its a bit crazy that Apex is still in this. Its been said before, but the targets really hinder any greatness imo. But its my hometown so i can live with a podium place for it.

I’m not voting here but I feel Apex is wonderful bc of its atmosphere, story tie in, and the uniqueness of its targets. That uniqueness is so cool bc it’s different, but also isn’t fantastic enough to make it the best mission. It’s fun bc it’s different in the same way the Absolution Sniper Challenge was so fun bc it was the first sniper only game.

Oh, its got an wonderful atmosphere and the very first time playing it is really something else. The sheer amount of targets and not knowing who and where they are was a great experience. On subsequent runs the magic fades unfortunately but thats expected. But it hit Berlin harder than other mission i think.
That said its still a great mission. Just too high up in this competition.

The Finish Line is a fantastic level and I’d have no issue with it winning but World of Tomorrow is just one of the most iconic Hitman levels.
I wanted to save my vote to be the last in the finals but eliminating Apex Predator is just as good.
