Hi,
I played Hitman Part 1 on PC by Steam. I can not find Part 2 and 3 so I should buy Hitman World of Assassination. Is possible to start from Part 2 without replay Part 1 again?
The two extra missions contained in Deluxe edition are related to the main story?
As of the 2022 Freelancer Update Hitman 3 has been rebranded into Hitman World of Assassination. This rebranding was meant to just generalize the title and not lead to confusion. By extension HITMAN 2016 and 2 have been delisted to avoid confusion given everything is under one title that being HITMAN World of Assassination formally known as HITMAN 3.
There is no part 2 and 3 from what I know.
Do you have World of Assassination at this moment?
How many locations do you have in the game?
Is there ICA Facility, Paris, Miami, Hokkaido, Dartmoor, Romania (Carpathian Mountains) aka the train?
I haven’t World of Assassination right now. Years ago I bought season one only.
I have the following: ICA Facility, Paris, Sapienza, Marrakesh, Bangkok, Colorado, Hokkaido + Patient Zero Missions. Which bundle should I take in order to play the other ones?
Assuming you mean you played the first game rather than “Part One” of WOA, you can not buy 2 and 3 without also getting the first game’s missions again. WOA (formerly Hitman III) is all 3 games in one. You don’t have to play them again if you don’t want to, you have access to any missions in any order. Haven and New York (Hitman 2 dlc missions) are sold separately or bundled in the deluxe version. If you meant you have Part One, as @Count.Rushmore said there may be a discounted “Upgrade to full WOA” option.
This is what is included in every purchase option of WOA:
Yes, I own the 2016 release (aka Part 1).
If I buy World of Assassination, can I keep my previous data? Can I start directly from the new ones (after Hokkaido)?
You will not keep your progress. I think that would only be possible by a transfer to Hitman 2 (2018) (which I believe is no longer available) and then a transfer from that into Hitman 3/WOA. AFAIK there is no direct transfer from 2016 to WOA.
However, there is no need to replay the missions if you don’t want to, you can start from the first mission of Hitman 2 or wherever you want. But with this, you will also not have any unlocks from the Hitman 2016 levels of course either.
I could be misremembering, but I’m fairly certain you do not have to play them to access the later levels. I think Hitman 2 was the same. It may advise you to play the preceding ones so you don’t get spoilers but I’m sure it doesn’t force you.
Either way, World of Assassination is your only option to play the levels of Hitman 2 and Hitman 3 and you can not purchase it without the levels of Hitman 1.
Also in regards to this question the DLC missions are somewhat connected but not essential to the plot, however they are very good levels in my opinion and worth playing.
The game you own is hitman 2016 which has been delisted from steam some while ago. The only way to play the trilogy now is by buying World of Assasination, which includes all but two maps that are included on the deluxe pack. Unfortunately, since WOA is technically a different game, that means that youl’ll have to pay again for the maps you already own and your progress will be lost.
If you want to have everithing I recomend you to buy the deluxe edition (blue). If you don’t want or can’t afford it, you can just buy the standard edition (red), besides the two maps you’re not missing much. If you buy the standard edition, you can upgrade to deluxe at any time you want with the deluxe pack (yellow). Just avoid at all costs buying the “Part One” as that is a scam.
I don’t know if this is the case for all countries but, as of writing this and until oct 7th, the game is at discount, so buying the standar and deluxe pack by separate (red and yellow) is actually cheaper than buying the deluxe edition lol. You should check your steam to see If you also have this discount, if not just ignore this paragraph.
I don’t care if progress will be lost. I care not waste time playing missions already done. So if it is certain that I can play any missions in any order I can buy WOA above.
