To a limited degree and from a very specific perspective, yes.
Holy shit, I hadn’t even realized that. That’s a glaring flaw. Although I suppose it’s possible that when the Constant contacted ICA and informed them that 47 and Diana had gone off-board, he told them they had killed the Washington twins as an example of their rogue actions and ICA put in a dossier of the twins in 47’s file on that basis, but even that’s a stretch.
I never claimed to know more than them in my statement though. I said that what they think about it is not relevant when what they say is not reflected within the work itself, or is contradicted by it, or their explanation does not encompass every possibility found within. While I would argue that, yes, I and probably quite a few of us here on the forum know more about the Hitman story than most of the devs involved, who are just doing their work and aren’t obsessively pouring over every little factoid of the series mythology for years on end to put together a cohesive story that goes beyond what they constructed for the sake of fulfilling their work, that’s not even what I was saying.
Bit late to this, but if they were present in the main mission, I wouldn’t be against them being canon (being canon targets, eh, treat it like ETs then).
Sarno is the head of security.
Lunn is just some person who is security and gets people to work.
Menard is the person who helps Strandberg “extract” from Marrakesh.
Stubbs is just an ambient NPC, adds a bit to the story of TS6.
Morgan is just an OP person, fits into Colorado given his military background.
Koyama is just an ambient NPC.
If they were in the main missions, and TS6 were also contracts where they were targets. I think it would’ve enriched the game and story a bit. I know this isn’t possible though due to their original PS4 exclusivity.
There are other references to real events. For example, in the ET The Revolutionary, info say that Vicente Murillo was related to Stefano Delle Chiaie, a real italian fascist terrorist active for some years in south America
I think what sammland meant was that these contracts are directly related to (or results of) the real-life event in question. There are several real-life references throughout the series (e.g. Delgado being a member of Pinochet’s intelligence service, Parvati being a former Tamil Tiger, Grey serving in Sierra Leone and Chechnya, etc.), but the S6 is the only case so far where the event is (part of) the reason for the contract.
Could actually be it. And instead of IO getting a regular payment from Sony to cover lost sales/money, they’re just letting Sony keep the money to cover costs from breaking the H1 agreement.
Would also explain the PS5-only WoA disc release - its a way for IO to still get some money from sales and saw the loophole in the potential agreement with Sony/PS.
Does anyone who remembers the original campaign, or currently plays the mod version, know if any of the Six eat or drink something that can be poisoned? I specifically want to know if the fourth target, John Stubbs, has a consumable poison opportunity, but any of the others will do as well.
So, Stubbs specifically has a consumable poison opportunity? That’s perfect for what I want, depending on how it can be done. Do you know when and where he eats or drinks?
Hopefully because of Emetics and other tools it’ll be easier to isolate the guards which i heard were a problem in 2016 (i don’t know I haven’t seen gameplay of the Colorado one in years)
