They finally met.
But only one survived.
The shoes remind me of Gmod, when you donât have a texture installed and it appears as those Purple and black squares!
Still waiting for me removal of the sound effects when certain UI elements are turned off.
It was fixed relatively quickly in H2 but in H3⌠phew âŚ
Did anyoneâs else game updated? Maybe its because I deleted some SDK files, but I donât think that should require installation of new files.

I got my game updated, but it crashes at every turn, like only the launcher works, but canât even open options tab.
File integrity had been checked and no error detected. At the same time my SMF got updated too, which also giving me error message saying unknown game version.
Is anybody having this issue?
I havenât loaded it up yet but the stream I was watching earlier had an NPC show up with no torso, so Iâm guessing there were some issues with the original patch that needed a hotfix
SteamDB shows the update as well.

@zsott1 I can launch and play the game fine, but I have to same issue with SMF. Since the game got another update today, SMF needs to be updated again to be able to work with the new game version. The update to SMF should arrive soon, I guess.
It looks like itâs missing textures! Like you downloaded a hitman model for GMOD but didnât have source!
I think IOI fucked something up in the Launcher with this most recent game update.
Iâm on Epic Games, and the Launcher would start up okay. But when I click âPlayâ or âOptionsâ, it would just crash back to Epic, and the game wouldnât start. At first I thought maybe some mod Iâm running wasnât playing nice with the new update, so I uninstalled all of them - but it still didnât work. I tried verifying the game files - still didnât work. Then I uninstalled the entire game and reinstalled it - it still didnât work. Then I tried deleting the Epic Games cache - still didnât work. Then I uninstalled and reinstalled Epic Games itself (which meant I had to reinstall Hitman AGAIN) - it still didnât work.
That was 3 hours well spent today. The 3 hour block I had set aside to actually play the game today. Iâve been busy with life stuff recently and donât get much time to play Hitman. But I finally had some free time on Friday afternoon. But that entire block of time was frustratingly wasted trying to figure out why the goddamn game wouldnât even launch. Thanks, IOI.
Although maybe not entirely wasted. At least I was able to figure out what the hell a âTwitch Dropâ is. And now Iâm really starting to feel old, because I barely even knew what Twitch was before today. And I got the Purple Streak suit, and now I will probably never use Twitch again.
Anyway, in the end, I found a Reddit post with someone else having the same problem. The solution is to add â-skip_launcherâ to the Launch Options when you click on Manage for the game in the Epic Games Library. Although this is more of a workaround than a solution, because the Launcher is still broke. But at least I can play the game now.
(I took this pic yesterday) Funny thing actually, IO did a little oopsie mistake after this patch as they moved the Guru Suit first in the deluxe suit category before The Devilâs Own while it should be between The Black Dragon and The White Shadow
Yes, thatâs what I did, however Iâm on steam, not epic⌠still, Iâll check that reddit page!
I would appreciate if in a future patch, the mission âShadows in the waterâ in Ambrose Island is integrated in the campaign tab either chronologically (Hitman 2 - between WC and IS) or in terms of release (Hitman 3 - after CM as a flashback mission).
Weird, yet another small update. Wonder what it is fixing.

Itâs the spooky update for Halloween waste your time updating for nothing
spooky
Might be an attempt at fixing the launcher issue thatâs been plaguing people.
I thought about that (it bugs me), but I think youâd run into a bit of an issue with the cutscenes if you tried to insert Ambrose where it belongs chronologically⌠They would have to be re-edited, if I remember well.
(Also, I believe the briefing for the Ambrose mission (visually) quotes âitâs a dangerous thing, having a conscienceâ, something Grey tells Diana right before the Isle of SgĂ il mission, so itâs pretty much assuming youâve played it alreadyâŚ)
Has anyone else notice âArrange a Meetingâ is substantially less broken now? Iâve used it quite a few times since the patch and there was only a single time it didnât work.
Seems odd that they didnât call it out in the patch notes given how well-known it was for being completely broken.
I know that IOI does leave certain things out of Patch Notes sometimes, but I wonder if fixing something else unintentionally fixed the âArrange A Meetingâ objective? I know that coding and game development can get complicated and certain changes can unintentionally fix or break things.
As you said here, it does seem odd that they wouldnât announce the fix since a lot of people have had trouble with it.
