How are people completing the kill everyone contracts on Console with lots of crowd NPCs? The game crashes when I try and I can't complete them

It took me several tries, but I was finally able to complete the kill all contract in Miami on the xbox series x. The key was clearing crowds from a long distance using mainly the matador gun, so that by the time I got close range, most of the crowds were either dead or dispersed.

Of course there are a few Kill Everyone contracts which includes a mandatory complication prohibiting non-target kills so that solution sadly won’t work there.

Probably because the game doesn’t have to recognize every single NPC as a target.
