It’s not like this is the only time in the entirety of the game where the player has been required to wait for the game to catch up (and there are almost always ways to circumvent that waiting).
- How long does it take for the race in Miami to naturally finish so that Sierra Knox gets to her post-race routine?
- How long does it take for Alma to go to bed naturally if you want to take her out in the bathroom or while she’s laying down?
- How long does it take to follow that poster guy around in Marrakesh to get his outfit and take out Zaydan in the printing machine?
- How long does it take to get from the original Berlin starting place to even realize there is a giant rave going on down in the plant?
If this weren’t an Elusive Target (carrying with it the inability to play over and over again), this wouldn’t even be a complaint. The original poster even said that his issue was specifically with the wait time on the first playthrough experience. Other missions forced you to deal with narrative and story-building too so it’s not even unique in that respect. It’s not even unique among Elusive Targets for that matter - the Fixer requires you to follow that courier around for quite a while before you can do much of anything.
