Introducing Hitmaps for Codename 47

Hi everyone, @HitmapsHelper47 here (forgot the password and email to my old account so here’s a new one), I want to introduce a project that I wanted to do since November last year, but had to put on hold for a long time and only really made work in the last 2 months.
You are all probably familiar with https://www.hitmaps.com/ , a website dedicated to the maps of Hitman games by showing you all items (etc.) in a level.
Well now Codename 47 is also going to be available on the site very soon (coming in August).

I wanted to make this both to complete the site (the end goal is to have all games, currently missing is also Silent Assassin and Contracts) as well as to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the game and franchise.

I would like to thank the following people who made this possible:

  • AdrienTD, who made the c47editor
  • Pavle, who made a fork of that editor and adding blender support
  • Mr. Mike, who created and maintains Hitmaps
  • And obviously IO for the game and the fans who already worked on Hitmaps

Here’s a preview of what it’s meant to look like:

As for now, here’s a temporary link for the game if you want to use it and/or already are a part of hitmaps and want to help edit:
https://www.hitmaps.com/games/redacted3

Another important part for this was also the fact that the maps in-game for some of the levels are horrible to use, this is much more manageable.

The maps in C47 don’t stop the game, right? It’s like H2SA?

So this will have the added benefit of allowing you to look without the game time progressing!

It does stop (pause) the game, but since the in-game map viewer is terrible…

This is very well made  the artstyle and font looks like it’s straight out of Hitman

If you mean the text on the website, it uses the World of Assassination font (if I remember right it’s Neue Haas Grotesk), if you meant the logo and the art (seen on my screenshot), those are straight from the game.
