Sunshine, beaches, and mountains

You all know that Barcelona is one of the most popular vacation destinations. And that’s for very good reasons. With the Mediterranean Sea on one side and a mountain range on the other, you’ll find a blend of futuristic skyscrapers, narrow medieval streets, bustling nightlife, upscale bars and the most incredible food. Oh, and the weather isn’t too bad either!

People in Barcelona understand the importance of taking care of oneself. Just like IOI in Copenhagen and Malmo, IOI Barcelona comes with
flexible working hours, paid vacation and a wealth of public holidays, so you can spend quality time for yourself or family & friends,
and finally have time for that hobby you kept postponing.

The quality of life in Barcelona is tough to compare to most European cities. It combines a lower cost of living than many major European cities,
whilst having access to good quality and free healthcare, education, great infrastructure, an international airport taking you around the world and much more.

Europe’s sunny tech hub

Barcelona is recognized as one of southern Europe’s most dynamic tech hubs, with the second highest number of professional developers among all European cities. Topping all kinds of rankings, Barcelona has been considered one of the best startup hubs, most tech progressive cities with one of the highest concentrations of innovation centers in Southern Europe.

International and packed-full of culture

A booming tech industry is a magnet for international professionals and Barcelona is a highly multicultural city where English is all you need to get by. If you know how to say ‘una cerveza si us plau’, then you’re good to go.

Barcelona has something for all ages and styles of living. Whether you’re relocating alone or with family, the city has everything from museums to galleries, music festivals, street parties and cultural landmarks, to help you fit right in and feel good while doing it.

Game and tech hub

The Game Assembly in Malmö is the second-best gaming education in the world. Coupled with the brilliant minds of the neighboring Lund University, the game development scene has taken off big time in Malmö. There is a strong game community, and we all know what that means: conferences, learning opportunities, talks, events, parties, social clubs, and generally a lot of ways to meet people from the same niche as you, make friends and build a social circle. Feeling like you belong is something we know is important for the place you’re looking to move in to. Malmö does that tenfold: makes game developers, from any corner of the world, feel like home.

Like a holiday town, but cooler

This quaint city, with its cobbled stones, old architecture, huge parks and harbor, carries the vibe
of a holiday town. Due to its progressive industries and multicultural talent,

Malmö is also home to a vibrant art scene. Music, Swedish design,
hip fashion brads and art galleries turn this city into much more than meets the eye.
Bistros and small cafes are coloring the city, being also
home to more than 450 restaurants, Michelin and all. You can explore it all by foot, bike or even kayak.

International, buzzing with diversity

Because of its advanced tech and game development industries, Malmo gathered a melting pot of talented internationals from over 180 nationalities. English is your one and only need to get by, but if you wish to learn Swedish, the city offers a lot of options. Moreover, being a multicultural city also means Malmö has an abundance of art, music and culinary experiences.

Family and work-life balance

Just like Copenhagen, Malmö embraces an environmentally clean style of living, whether it comes from responsible recycling, green transportation or simply the innate Nordic mindset for sustainability.

With a smart and efficient infrastructure, Malmö makes it easy to get around and arrive in no-time at our studio, located at DevHub, in the city center.

The social and work safety, flexible work hours and many weeks of vacation make Malmö a place where your family can prosper and give you the peace of mind in order to enjoy your career at IOI.

and international capital of Denmark, Copenhagen –

Green, clean, and relaxed

Bicycles…bicycles everywhere. Just as the rest of Denmark, Copenhageners see renewable energy and taking care of the environment as an essential way of life. With its goal to become the first carbon-neutral city, everyone in Copenhagen recycles and rides a bike, while public transportation is also energy-based and well connected. Bicycle lanes are a priority, because it is the fastest means of transport.

Family and work-life balance

With a 37-hour work week and flexible working hours, it is ingrained in the Danish work culture
that family, spare time, hobbies and a relaxed lifestyle are just as important as work.
That is why you will find balance between work and the life you have outside working hours.
Your managers get it, and you will get used to it too.

Security, comfort and welfare

Is Copenhagen pricy? Maybe. But the system works. You see every penny you pay in taxes go towards the welfare and public system that you are expected to use as much as you want: public health insurance, smart infrastructure, education, research, safety and digitalized systems for making your life easier. Trust is also essential. That’s why Denmark keeps its place as top contender in those World Happiness Reports.

International, booming urban hub

Street parties, large music festivals and a cultural scene with more events than fit your calendar. There is something for every art lover and every age.

Moreover, English is a language everyone speaks, and it is absolutely everything you need in Denmark. From clerks, to children and elderly people, everyone speaks English fluently.

We have 28 different nationalities in our Copenhagen studio, specialists from all corners of the world who relocated here, with family or alone, to work at IOI. Many formed very strong friendships and spend time together outside of work. English is truly our official language and you’ll even catch our Danish employees speaking English between themselves.

Our Malmö studio is a stone-throw away!

A 30-minute train ride away is the cozy and game industry capital of Sweden, Malmö – home of our newest studio.

Hello Erfan,
I’m aware that ioi.dk is either blocked/filtered for Iranian IPs but it works fine (as of right now) using a VPN. I’d suggest you change yours.

As for the job offerings: They seem quite good, the VISA support is especially important for those outside of Europe.

These look like really good packages! I’m impressed. I don’t think I could design games but curious about all of the support roles around the enterprise.

That’s what she said. :upside_down_face:
